He peers.

And the Eshu girl his age walks up. Before he met all the trolls he might say she was tall for a girl, about even with him, but after trolls? No it's all good. She definitely looks 'exotic' due to a mix of heritages that blend very nicely. Her outfit is both flashy, yet practical, slacks, tight sleeves, but with colorful designs.

He grins. "Hey. Uh, Sir Sergi isn't here right now. I could take a message." he offers.

"I'm Alanza," She smiles "Could you tell him I came by and was hoping he might have a job for me with one set of animals or the other? I had heard he was in need of an-" Realization "Oh my gosh I came in asking for your job didn't I? That's why you're there"

Her smile fades with embarrasment

"Alanza. That's beautiful. I'm Adam. I only recently started here with Sir Sergi; he might be looking for another person, I don't know." A charming smile.

She warms to it, "Well, if you don't think it'll put you out? "

"If Sir Sergi wants to hire someone else, either to add to or replace me...." a shrug "What am I going to say? It's his operation, right?"

"Well, yeah" She says "But you could I don't know, fight for it a little? Show some spunk" half smiling "Get macho"

His eyes spark. "Want to wrestle for it?"

"Oh you're on!" She says

"Yeah?" Oh, he likes that. "You been here at EarthRunes long?"

"Nope. I'm kind of a squire. Kind of" She says "Dame Leonora saved my ass. "

"Dame Leonora? Wow, she's -awesome-." enthusiastically "I wish she'd save my ass......"

"Really, you're gonna flatter another girl while I'm here"

But she grins "yeah, she's awesome"

"Hey, no offense. Being honest, you know? You want a tour?"

"you're offering?"

"Yeah, why not?" Still smiling.

"Thought we were wrestling" She grins

Adam approaches. "I could buy you dinner first....." a cheeky offer.

"In a place that provides the food for free? Wooo" But she doesn't stop smiling "Big spender. But sure, you can end the tour in a meal"

He offers his hand in greeting.

She shakes it

He bows over her and kisses it!

She looks flattered "Well aren't you smooth?"

"Still have some rough edges, but I'm trying." Standing comfortably close.

Alanza nods "So where to first?"

"Well, how about we take a look at the birds here, and then the kennels?"

Her eyes light up "Please"

"Wow.... your eyes are amazing....." he takes a moment to really appreciate those gems and galaxies within them.

And they do glitter, and shine, promising of adventure to be had. "It's an eshu thing" A smile

"It's beautiful." Smiling back.

He tears himself away. "Right. So, uh.... " He introduces her to each of the birds, gives her a little insight as to their personalities.

Alanza coos and smiles at the birds

And seeems to respect them. She does not make mistakes like letting them near her eyes , and she listens.

"And... so that's all of them." he finishes.

"They're beautiful" She says "Do you go out hunting with them often?"

"Not, like, a lot? Sir Sergi has taken me out with them a few times, but mostly he hunts and I help. And I'm learning."

"It's got to be exhilarating"

"Oh, they're beautiful on the wing, yeah. Beautiful and deadly." Watching them fondly.

"You seem to have a rapport with them" She says "Maybe I should help with the dogs"

"Oh, the dogs are awesome too! Come on, I'll show you." He leads her there, by the hand if she will allow.

And she does. Moving down, allowing the touch, in fact she might put him at risk skipping a few steps at a time

He is certainly willing to keep up with her pace.

And down they go to the dogs!

"Now, they ate but they might be a little noisy....."

And indeed, the dogs bark and greet and wag

Adam goes from kennel to kennel, murmuring greetings and acknowledging them.

Alanza says "Oh you're just a bunch over grown fur babies. yes you are"
