Coradel looks down at the source of the call, and calls back to the pooka boy, "We are making it a capital occasion." A wink.

Brekke squeezes Frank's hand again.

"Then, Captain Waveborne, kneel."

Siv kneels.

Coradel's blade is in her hands again, and she rests it atop Siv's shoulders, moving across her neck and back again. "For your service...for your valor...for the honor you bring to your new House...I call you now Lady Captain Siv Waveborne, Knight of House Fiona!"

A second glamour working, cloudss part just enough for silver light to cast down on both Baroness and new Lady Captain!

And Siv's eyes are dewey as she whispers "Thank you, Baroness. you didn't have to, but thank you"

Coradel gives a slight purr at the pleasant wave of Glamour and murmurs, "Ooh, I ought to do that more often." Then she reaches to offer Siv a hand up.

Siv takes it and rises!

Enri looks up "CAn we cheer NOW?"

Dagmar cheers again!

"Now..." she calls down to the crowd. "Welcome Lady Captain Siv Waveborne ap Fiona!"

And yes, cheers break out! All over.

Zara covers her ears at the roar, but she wouldn't miss this for the world.

Earl lets his lady use him as a buffer if need be, but gives her a squeeze

Brekke visibly relaxes, giving Frank a look.

Frank looks back, and nods.

"You must rejoin them, Captain. They await you!" Coradel indicates a convenient zip line that's been added for the occasion.

Siv yells! "hold ølet mitt og se på dette!" And leaps on the zipline and shoots down with alarming , reckless speed!

"What did that mean?" Leonora asks anyone who speaks that language

And Siv tries to do a handstand before swinging off and tumble rolling the last part of the drop to embrace Jonas with a kiss!

That actually gets a burst of laughter from Brekke!

A brief one.

And Siv then turns to her folks "Mom, da. I hope you .. the oath. I may have taken liberties, but it's supposeed to include what's important to you"

"Hold my...." Frank frowns, but disregards it. "You have done well, Siv."

A blush then a pleased look "Dad, you're learning it fast!" A hug and kiss on the cheek, "Good work."

Then she turns to her mom.

"Siv..." Brekke puts a hand on her shoulder, looking at her red-and-silver clad daughter. "You did very well." A proud understatement. "Lady Captain."

"Thanks mom. Forgive me, I have a dozen folk to thank tonnight, but I'll be sleeping in Rivervale by morning.." A pause "Possibly late morning" Siv beams with pride gives her mom a hug and rushes to join Dagmar and Sylvi and Piper "You girls, enjoy the show?"

"Sure did, Lady Siv." A hearty clap on the back.

"That was SO cool. I thought she was going to make you duel up there!"

This from Sylvi.

Siv gets bumped by that congrats but chuckles. Then Sylvi's comment has her going "oh, a duel on the deck, that would have been AMAZING. Oh well, hindsight"

For her part, Coradel follows Siv's path down the zip line, her glorious red and silver gown fluttering in the breeze. Her landing is only slightly more demure, but August is there to welcome her.

Several Fiona come up, to congratulate not Siv, but Brekke and Frank. "She's going to be a great Fiona," Leonora says

Brekke and Frank are both pleased to see that Jessica actually did arrive in time for the ceremony.

And Siv sure hugs the snot out of her sis when she sees her.

Shalimar cheers as Baroness Coradel returns "The coup is postponed, Vince shall not rule tonight!"

Brekke nods to Leonora. "I suspect this is true. Thank you."

Coradel laughs at Shalimar. "Ever the loyal defender of my title, Dear Shalimar."

"She already IS a great FIona."

Leo adds "To an Arcadian sidhe, even if you love the mortal parent or parents who took care of you, you can't always bring them into your world. Siv is lucky to have folks who can, and even luckier to have such support. " A smile and she moves on to join the crowd

Then Leo grins to Dagmar "Yes, I guess she is! Her archery needs work though!"

"Ah, so does your swimming!" Siv calls back

“You were incredible!” Piper beams at her.

Magnus whisper to Brekke and Frank "Some of the Fiona here tonight might make a good tutor for you know who. We're looking into it"

"You may have found one?" Brekke replies to Magnus, keeping her voice low. "Good. I have spoken with Sir Sergei. He is interested in having Adam continue to work with him as well."

"Well, maybe we should try her with a harpoon insteada arrows..."

And Piper gets a hug from Siv "I won't lie, I have material for a good brag and boast if we do one. PIper there's going to be music jamming in the gardens, and Stevi and Gideon and the others tell me it is NOT an all noble thing thank you" A wink

“And I DID bring a song to play for you, if it worked out...” she hugs her back. “Um. My Lady.” A grin.
