(Timbe Bubble) Jessica arrived in time to get a new dress thrust upon her, a place to change, and then come out to see her parents heading to the garden for the ceremony. One nice thing about being a troll, you always have a good view over the heads of others. And so she got to see her sister risk her life to get on a ship, get a sword to her throat, and then swear to House Fiona

It's things like this that might discourage her from joining a House

But as the ceremony is done, and the party begins, she can move over to her mom and dad who may or may not have seen her

Jess is much more an outdoor girl; jeans, flannel, shorts, tee-shirts..... Even her formal voile is more suited to adventuring than being dressy. Still. Sigh

She does edge over to her parents.

Brekke moves to meet Jessica half-way. "I am glad you arrived in time." She rests a hand on Jessica's shoulder.

"I'm sorry about that. It took longer than I anticipated."

"Nothing to apologize for." Brekke does not look at all upset. In fact, she looks...pleased. "You saw the ceremony?"

Jessica nods. "I did. It was.... very Siv."

Siv is shaking hands, hugging folks

An amused sound. "It was. I did not know she would be knighted. I am not sure she knew, either."

Someone points to Jessica for Siv, and she turns, and gives a knightly squeeee!

"Hm. Brace yourself," Brekke advises Jessica.

"You made it!" Siv almost gives a flying tackle to her sister, then turns "Everyone, this is my sister! The one I've told you about!"

"Yeah."

Cheers and raised hats and glasses!

"Um. Hi. Everyone." Jessica catches Siv without letting either of them fall, and gives a sheepish wave to the room in general.

Brekke chuckles slightly and glances to Frank.

Siv turns "So glad you came. All of you. How's things, Jessica? Fenix still rising?"

"Yes, all is well?" Brekke asks Jessica.

Jessica nods. "Yes. We're trying to arrange a Tour, so Eleanor and I can make mutual introduction across the County. It's... a lot of logistics."

"Sounds like fun though" Siv says

"A visible presence is important. I have been considering making myself more present at the apartments, as more fae live there now."

"I was going to volunteer for Pool Patrol meself" Siv smirks

"Apartments? I think I heard about those."

Frank's beard settles in a way that makes one suspect he is smiling as he watches and listens.

"Mm. Owned by Caesar Carolos. Largely occupied by satyrs."

"Hmmph."

"Piper is livin g there, oh so is Tig and his lady"

"Tig has a lady?" Jessica blinks.

"Yep. School teacher I'm told."

Brekke nods.

"Huh." She nods. "Well. Good for him. Them."

"Oh Jessica, you should see some of the changes in Bergan. Iwas gone for just a little while and it was still amazing. They've got a jelly beanstalk and a purple tree in the garden"

"A... jelly beanstalk?"

Definitely a chuckle there. "Young Jack, a satyr childling, has developed a skill in gardening. His approach is original. Refreshing."

"And a wee bit silly but, a kid"

"That's.... kind of a blessing, really. Something like that." Jessica decides.

A look at the family"Did you all see how good Jonas was during that event? He was SO close to turning into an eagle and trying to fly to help but he behaved himself." Proud.

Frank grunts.

"He showed great restraint. You must thank him for that."

"Oh I will" She smiles "Just, well, boasting for him since he'll never do it himself."

"Siv, are you planning on staying here?" Jessica asks.

"Oh no no.. I'm partying, and then going to Rivervale for my home port. Mind you, mom and dad will have assignments for me no doubt, but I hope to travel too. why, need help in Mexico?" A brow

"Um. Not that I know of."

"Thanks, though, I'll let you know if anything comes up." She promises.

"Lady Captain Siv will certainly have chores, but I don't think they will prevent her from travelling."

"Okay, let's sit down please, some place quieter. What I WANT to do is show all of you off, but I'm guessing you'd prefer a small room for four trolls? Which is what, five Eshu or 7 Boggans?"
