Siv doesn't blink, but rather smiles as she holds still "I'm not the one on my family who needs a shave now and then, Baroness."

Bachdion says to Brekke and frank "Your daughter can be a bit sassy I've noticed." Low said "Endearing. But has it ever gotten her in trouble?"

A smile as Siv dangles in the last of the ropes. Then Coradel calls down, "Sir Bachdion! I am not so sure about this one! Have you anything to say about this impudent little cub?"

Gerd's eyes widen. If Connor is near she gives him a hug

Sylvi bites her lip.

Piper has gasped at the appropriate points and cheered when Siv made the death daring leap!

Connor hugs back, not sure what Gerd is worried about - Siv has this!

And Vince gives his approval to the question NOT asked to HIM - a mighty roar!

"You'll have your chance, Whiskers," Coradel calls down, winking, to Vince.

Sir Bachdion looks up and says "Baroness! She is brave to the point of foolishness! Stubborn in her convictions to the point of madness! Passionate in her ideals of what is right beyond mere reason!" A grin "I like her!"

"Ha! That is good, Teacher-Mine, for you are clearly a fine judge of character. I may be swayed...much as our dear Captain sways in the rigging even now. But I don't know...." She taps a finger to her lips, her other hand still holding the blade steady. "What were you about to say, dear Vince?"

Isis says softly to the worried Kings "I don't think they shall behead her, I'm a princess so I am at her right hand at all beheadings"

"I certainly hope you are correct," Kerri nods to Isis.

"Siv, a Fiona?" He projects his voice easily.

"You could never deed her so! No one could!"

"Never could any give her this gift - nor could any grant her this boon!"

"She can only earn it, as certainly as my name is King Leopold Von Fionenstein! And I say - SHE HAS!"

"Ha!" Coradel laughs with approval at Vince's pronouncement. "I suppose, then, I must accept this judgment, for I, too, have seen Siv equal to her tasks and to the House she dares to claim as her own. Come aboard, Captain!" The blade flickers away.

And Siv finishes that flip up and lands before the Baroness

A soft grunt from Frank, likely only Brekke hears it.

And possibly Frank is the only one who can tell that Brekke was holding her breath until that moment.

Quietly, Coradel says to Siv, "Make a bold oath, Captain. Make it loud and clear so they may all witness it. Make it a moment they will remember." Then she raises her voice, "Siv Waveborne, daughter of Baroness Brekke and Sir Franklyn, Captain of the Narwhal...what have you got to say for yourself?"

She nods, then gathers herself and says

"I am the roar of courage echoing through plains of fear! I am Love's Champion where Hatred oppresses! I am the Silver candle that snuffs the darkness around her! Danger be my consort, Risk be my Reward! By the Seas that Birthed my Soul! By the Forest that Welcomed me! By River and Vale! By Ocean Deep and Waves Wild! I AM FIONA! I swear myself a daughter of that House, a sister to others of it, until my dying day and beyond!"

Frank squeezes Brekke's hand.

Piper wipes away a few tears, she can't help it, she's a bit of a sap.

Brekke squeezes back. Oh, my daughter....

Glamour flows around her, and a roar in the dreaming can be heard, and Siv's white garb seems to have a color, a wave of crimson, fill it her voile! The plain white turns into bold scarlet, and Shining Silver

Sylvi's jaw drops. "Wow..." she breathes.

Vashti looks smug and whispers to shallimar, but Zara can hear "how likest my cooking? Fiona soufle, and it did not fall"

Coradel gives all a moment to take in the sight of Siv in her new splendour, and then calls out, "Witness here! Welcome her! Captain Siv Waveborne AP FIONA!"

A cheer from Sylvi!

"HIP HIP - HOOROOOOOOOOOAR!" Vince leads a roaring cheer!

Kerri is applauding loudly.

Gerd yells, "you scared us to death, Siv, you big ham!"

Then, "No!....no!" Coradel calls out again, and she is frowning.

She waves everybody to silence.

"Tis a most wondrous trick, dear sister."

The cheers die on Sylvi's lips, and she looks confused.

Piper blinks, and stops mid-whistle. Connor keeps cheering and has to be shushed.

Dagmar stops cheering, confused.

"No..." Coradel says. "No, that just doesn't sound quite right. Not quite. Something is missing...."

And folks silence...

And NOW Dag grins.

Siv looks confused but waits

Magnus sips a drink to cover his expression

A moment of pondering, then Coradel says, "Captain, what would you think of adding 'Lady' to your title today?"

"Siv's already a lady!" Connor calls up, his high voice piping up in defense!

Isis says quietly "you can't assume gen dar. It's not wokedy" Having to instruct Connor

It does shush him in sheer confusion. He has to wonder on THAT one a bit.

"I would be honored beyond words," Siv says

"??" Frank lifts an eyebrow.
