"What can I do for you, Captain, young man?" A boggan smiles having popped out of nowhere

Adam blinks.

"Sir Sergi asked me to stay and care of the baby birds. I guess... I mean, where should I stay? What should I do in the meantimes?"

"I.. don't quite know" The woman says "I thought you might be hungry?"

"He is," Siv says "And truth that's why we plopped down here. Very sorry if it's any trouble"

"oh," the boggan brights this makes sense "What would you like, Captain? Adam?"

"A... sandwich? Milk?"

"Oh" The boggan says sounding almost , disappointed "is that all?"

Siv smiles "Consider it a challenge as to the details of said sandwich"

"Peanut butter and jelly would be fine....."

"On it" the boggan says

and gone

Siv smirks

Adam sits.

And out comes a tray with three sandwiches "Enjoy whichever you like"

"Wow! Um. Thanks!"

and.. yes, a PBJ.. sort of

"You're welcome" the boggan says

Adam, hunger awakened, starts with the PB&J. And milk.

And yes, there are glasses of milk in their natural flavors of milk, chocolate milk, and strawberry milk

"Jeeze, that's a lot of milk...."

But he eats and drinks. "Siv, will you have some?" He offers politely.

"Was about to decide which one I should take before all three are gone" Wryly "I think you were hungry"

"I guess I was. Thanks."He finishes a the PB&J and pushes the others towards her.

She takes the fancy melted/grilled cheese and a glass of milk "They're really good here. Don't tell them, I prefer AUnt Kerri's work, but there's so much variety her, fancy as all hell. Rivervale tends to have regulars"

"not that Aunt Kerri doesn't get some exotic things here once in awhile, but no way would I be able to sit down at her table and go 'well, how about swordfish with a light lemon honey glaze?' and get it handed to me that day" Siv says "She'd probably tell me 'sure, go fish' "

Adam nods, looking at another sandwich.

"You can have the other, this one is fine with me" she says

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. Frankly I don't know where guys put it. Jonas can eat like a horse even when he isn't one"

Adam is already helping himself. "Metabolism."

"When you hit thirty you better either muscle up or cut down, but for now.. enjoy" She grins

"Any questions you have about this place while we're sitting here?"

"I think.... I think I don't know what to ask. I'm supposed to be reading some books Professor Wayburton got for me. About Houses and stuff."

"Well, sure, read those, but as for what you should ask, mm you've been shown waht's around, but maybe not all of WHO is around." She ponders "Okay. You've met Baroness Coradel. I can tell you right now, she's a woman with high expectations.. she doesn't coddle, and she hates when folks simper. She does have her pride though, so watch yourself and don't insult her. To paraphrase, if you come after the queen, you better cut her to the quick"

"She's... amazing. She talked to me." He stops eating, sandwich suspended in his hands, in a pink fog.

"Please tell me you also spoke," A worried look. She doesn't want the Baroness thinking she escorted the Rivervale village idiot.

"Huh? Yeah. We talked."

"You didn't, stare at her cleavage the entire time did you?"

A wistful sigh. "No....." _but he damn sure noticed it

"Thank you. I know she's gorgeous, but she is... well, that's weirdly the least of her. I should tell you about the Siege sometime. I wasn't there, of course, but the story is impressive. Let's see who else? You met her Trueheart, Baron August?"

"Huh?" Nope

"Dark hair with a spit curl you just want to play with, deep intense dreamy eyes that make you want to tell him it's all right and will be better" A soft sigh herself "he moves like a deer in the wood, as if afraid he might crush clover under him, but his mind races quietly faster than most can follow"

"Uh, no, pretty sure I'd remember a guy like that."

A light cough "Well, he's a good lad...but very Liam. In that, I mean he sees things as 'how does this affect mortals' quite often first. And you may need to keep that in mind if you meet him." Then she says "Now he leads a Bannerhouse ... and one of the knights of that is named Temerity. She's a mouse pooka knight, but do not laugh at that, funny or not, she will be on you like the bastard daughter of Joe Peschi and Sir Gawain"

"Joe who?"

"Actor in old movies, angry little man... he is not here to amuse you" She says
