"Does this ship have a crow's nest I wonder?"

"Good. For if you are ever made to feel unsafe here, I shall have to have words with somebody."

"I've no doubt. Nay, I have always felt welcome here."

A warm smile. "That is good to hear." Then to Bachdion. "Are you thinking...oh, we would need to ask Baroness Brekke's permission for that, but what a lovely thought!"

"I think I can drop by and ask"

"To have Siv dive from the crow's nest?"

"I meant the highest part for your distance..., Zara. Think of it as the closest thing I could imagine to an attic above the party?"

"Oh! I was thinking of having the Captain oath up there...but yes, it would make a fine get-away after the oath, wouldn't it!"

"Oh, the Chieftain would not wish me on her ship, I do not think..."

"Miss Zara, you are one of the best friends of the Oathee, I am sure they'll understand" Bachdion says

"Ah, but I am one of her shady and disreputable friends."

"Such persons add spice to the party" He says

"One hopes. But... I would not cause a fuss."

"I shall find a place where I may watch, and, mayhaps a place where my beau may also fit... trolls are so difficult..."

Coradel frowns. "Baroness Brekke has said this? 'Shady and disreputable'?" A pause. "I mean...well..." Another pause. "Not the words I would use, at any rate."

"I am a sluagh, nu?"

A blink. "She is bigoted against your kith?"

"No! No, but..." She frowns. "I... I believe I made a poor impression upon her."

"Ah, well, that can happen to anyone" Bachdion says "But if need be, I will cast a spell of flighto n you and you will HOVER inches off the ship not technically touching it all" He ofers

Coradel is distracted from her growing righteous indignation by the image Bachdion crafts. "Like an albatross?"

"Sir Bachdion, I beg of you - the thing I wish least is a shanda."

"Shanda...a...a mess, yes?" The air of victory at knowing that one.

"Aye! A fuss, a scandal..."

"Oh not trying to display you like a trophy, young lady. I figure you can hide while hovering.. if anyone could it's you"

"Bachdion, please... I shall find a place."

"Well, I suppose it might be terribly sunny up there, as well, and your complexion is so very light...."

Zara nods emphatically.

Bachdion raises a brow

"Oh...I just had a lovely thought. A little pavilion at the edge of the garden, close enough to be able to see all, and made entirely out of layers of black lace. Breezy, but a place for the more sensitive among us to find a bit of haven?"

"That sounds quite romantic..." She considers, and then pinks again.

"Truly, you needn't.."

"Oh needn't isn't the point anymore I think" Bachdion smiles

"I may enlist your sister in the effort. Oh, I think it would be a lovely addition." A pause. "I'm not sure if your troll would fit inside, though...."

"We'll shrink him if we have to" A nod "Jonas would help"

"Oh, will Vashti be dressing Siv?"

"I have some silver lace I could contribute..."

"Oh! I should speak with her about that...she certainly deserves a fine outfit. A proper Captain's coat? Tricorn hat? Cane?"

"Oh, aye... full pirate queen."

"She'll love it" A smile

"Yes! Oh, splendid, yes, I should speak with Vashti immediately! Please excuse me." And with that, Coradel is sweeping away with an air of excitement.

"Aye, then..."

Bachdion watches Coradel go, and he looks proud "She's a force, isn't she?"

Zara nods.

Then gently "miss Zara? If I may be so rude as to.. given an opinion?"

AN eyebrow. "Aye, sir?"

"It's just not Earth Runes without you in the library" A smile

"Well... I am most proud of it..."

"Rightly so, rightly so, but while you have your college, your fine family in Scarsdale, and your fun about the world- I think when it comes to holds? This is your home"

"It is where you are happiest" He says "Even an old goat like me can see it"
