Bachdion walks along with the Baroness, "One thing that suprirses so many is learning that House Fiona doesn't have any ONE Oath for joining" He chuckles "But I've given our young Captain a list of most popular ones"

"I figured she'd likely default to the basics if she chose to oath when she came back...but now I'm all curious about which one she'll select!" She gives his arm a squeeze as they walk together.

"Knowing her love of the ocean I'm betting the one with the sea metaphors, but there is much to be said for the 'standing tall I roar' line in another. Some Fiona mix and match. " A smile "Coradel? If I may.. I'm not sure I've told you enough times how well you did educating her in our ways. You were firm, challenging when you needed to be, yet always supportive"

A hand to her heart. "Teacher-mine, that's quite a compliment. Of course, I had a fine model to follow. Mind you, I wish I could have started her off the way you did with me."

"Don't we all?" a chuckle "Who knows, she may yet come around. I think ,I think Her Jonas actually is opening to the idea more. He came so close to losing her that he... I think it made him look at priorities.

A blink and a laugh. "Well, that, yes, but I was thinking in terms of how you FlickerFlashed a mile above ground and watched how I'd react to plummeting to the ground!" Another laugh.

"Oh dear, shows where this old goat's mind is" A grin "Any time you want me to lob the two of you in the air let me know"

"Maybe as part of her oathing celebrations!" Coradel suggests with excitement. "Oh, won't her parents be mad."

He breaks out laughing "May I ask why you hope to enrage two troll parents? Some odd bucket list?"

The library door opens just a crack.

"Oh, sometimes I think I'm just a little bit mischievous." She winks at him, then notes the library door as they pass. "Oh! Miss Zara, hello." she lowers her voice a bit.

"Sorry , Miss Zara, didn't mean to laugh too loud" Bachdion flourishes his hat

"T'were not too loud."

"I... was curious of the merriment."

"Oh, plotting and planning the Captain's Oathing to House FIona. The Baroness proposed taking the high ground"

"The Captain does love a thrill."

She beams at Bachdion. "My fine teacher has had some suggestions. Oh, Zara, speaking of celebrations...I knew you wouldn't like a fuss at the party, but I hope you know I appreciate...well, I know you had some role in the raid, though I'll admit to being a bit vague on the particulars. But I want to thank you for...whatever you did." A wry smile.

"I assume it was librarian related.. Invaluable no doubt"

"Well... I helped a bit, aye."

"Not so much with the things that make good songs - no swordplay nor derring do."

"Oh? And here I thought you might have charged into battle with a flaming spear!" A teasing wink.

"No disrespect meant to you, Zara, but you wielding a flaming spear would definitely fit the very definition of suprirse"

"Well... aye." A touch of pink.

"So...any suggestions you might have for the Captain's auspicious day?"

"Yes, please, you are closer to her than we I suspect" Bachdion says

"She must needs have her family here..."

"Pity we've not a proper berth for the Narwhal..."

"Give her oath on a ship? " A consideration "Taht's not bad. I suspect her family will be here though. My word but she treasures them deeply, not that i blame her but it got in her way sometime, her fears over what they would or wouldn't think"

"Mayhaps... mayhaps her parents could bring the Kestrel?"

"I know that she's gone to invite them. Oh! Think of it, if they are all here, we shall have representatives from all the areas of the Raids! How fitting!"

"Rivervale and EarthRunes, together?"

"And Countess Jessica I suspect" A nod

"She would wish all of her family, of course."

"But the Kestrel could berth in the garden, aye?"

"But...there's a kestrel involved? A chimera?"

"I'm curious myself" Bachdion says

"The Kestrel is a flying ship."

"Ah" Bachdion says "Well goodness, it's a good thing we aren't near a port.. we should get ship envy"

"Oh! Magnificent!"

"It is quite a sight to see."

"Oh, I must send word that we wish to see it, then!"

"But it could be something, to have two baronesses?"

"I know not. But it... Siv is most fond of ships."

"Interesting, we all end up in the air after all or may" Pleased

"And the Kestrel was her cradle, she was born a-sea."

"Oh, more than two, if we manage to lure Derynwydd back for the occasion, as well as Baronesses Brekke. And of course, Countess Jessica...or whatever title she insists on."

"Fff... quite an affair. I shall find a safe vantage point to observe."

Coradel tilts her head. "Miss Zara...I don't mean to offend, but how could we make you feel more 'safe' in such occasions?"
