Zara enters the dressmaker's work space, everywhere are looms, needles, and others tool of the trade.

Vashti flits, even in humanoid form, from one project to another. Either not seeing her sister yet, or not choosing to pretend to notice. She does have a somewhat 'irked' look on her face.

"What vexes thee?" A whisper, feather-soft.

"I am in morning, bright and pale," A sigh as she lifts a shroud "My sister died and didn't have the courtesy to tell me. Probably due to my curse" A sniff

It's a beautiful shroud by the way

"Mayhaps she has come to haunt thee?"

"All signs are she does not consider me worth haunting" But she does look over her shoulder "she haunts her turquoise paramour, this is understandable, she haunts one known only as 'Auggie' , well, very well. But who shall she haunt next one wonders? Ever jedi loving thane who says howdy? Healers that faint at hte sight of blood? Nay nay... what is the point of such an apparition that one likely withers herself before finally being frightened?"

"I have been back but a day..."

"Maybe twain..."

"I mark thy twain," A sniff "Think me illiterate as well as untimely? yet was I warned of thy flight into such dangers as shocking lanterns? 'Three witches' indeed, have I taken my paramour's voile that some assume I am a fool? Thou charged recklessly into that story then did threaten the Eshu with doom no doubt to extract you, but what if you had died without proper measurement for shroud?" A fuss

"Thou knowest mine breadth, nu?"

"And butter, what of it?" Her own curiousity cutting through her apparent hurt

"I was barely in danger..."

"Huff, so you were no where near redcaps riding on giant arachinds? Arachnids, who I know thou adore, but are prone to snaring innocent moths such as us and drinking them dry? There was no cold iron flashing about, wielded by mad art critics? No great workings of magic asking Luck to play wanton? Barely.. feh"

"Twas 1122, and I restored him.."

"And.. aye, there was cold iron - Earl was dreadfully imperiled..."

At that, her sister's seeming huffiness, fades "I knew not a thing of this. one supposes if my paramour was so injured I might rush off to my sister first rather than comfort him"

"He is doing better, and I have sought thee..."

"oh, so I am haunted after all" and her sister moves to her and gives a gentle hug, then "are your wings untorn? did they get shredded? And... how much dust have you lost?" Looking her over

"Well, I had lost mine Shadow... errant strumpet, she didst steal Coradel's violet sash..."

"That lovely one, witht he silken fringe?"

"So that is where it went" Relief "I thought I had starting snacking in my sleep. I had to make another, though, though it is really not the Empress's color"

"Oh, she made a scandal of me... Sister, she sent one of my scribblings to Natira Gold!"

"Bold as you please!"

"Oh nay!"

"Aye, so."

"oh sister," Vashti grabs a fan to offer... a delicate lace on "So you may cover your face as you walk through the halls. Prey tell, twas the name pinned?"

"Under mine own name!"

"oh sister, your talents revealed, a shanda , your name shall be smeared now, like Orczy de Orci" a squeeze "I am here to protect you, come, let us retreat to your library, tis the only place safe in all the world. Tea perhaps?"

"Ah, speaking of tea..."

"My favorite member of the Alphabet parliament, ever since suffrage, I have voted so" Nodding

"Knowest thou that Delores hast been holding out on us?"

"Nay!"

"Boggans cannot keep secrets, tis, tis rude intrusion... they are not union"

"Aye! A collection of teas most rare, mouldering on a forgotten shelf..."

"Mouldering? Tea.. mouldering? " She grabs another fan for herself so she may join in the outrage

"Neglected, to waste in unappreciated storage..."

"Oh Delores, sweet sweet Delores, who rose so high. How can she act so lowly?" yes, fan is flapping furious. Apparently sisterly outrage has been redirected

"It seems they were ordered for fine guests... and yet..."

"Truly, is it meet that they be wasted?"

"Are we not fine? And, should I go to thy library, will I not be thy guest?"

"Why, thou wouldst..."

"How extraordinary," She says "Well, I am well dressed, and well behaved, fine as silk"

"Yet I smell no tea"

"This should be addressed. Mayhaps... mayhaps thou art bold enough to request such? The puer-eh?"

"Would not a famous author not have a better chance of gaining such?" Blink blink

"I..."

"Ah, though wishes to keep the fanboys away, wise wise," A sigh "I suppose I can make the request on thy behalf. As long as you do not demand only green M&Ms, twould be boorish. " And she guides her sister "To the library with ye, and I shall handle this mission"

"Aye, my gratitude, sister... I have other stories to share."

"And I shall hear of them" She says "Loud and clear from thy fine timbre"
