Siv holds up the dog with the batwings.

"This is Bram" she says, "i'll be taking him back to Bergen."

Bram's little batwings flutter, and he licks Dagmar as he dangles in front of her, then breaths

"....Oh yeah. But he's cute?"

Waggle butt

"Yes, yes. He's cute. And he was about to be homeless" She says

"He is?"

The Brindle frenchie breathes in AUgust's face now.

"Oh sorry, Baron."

"Hello."

"Yes, Henry was about to go over seas, and for a kinian that often means by plane and boat and..well, a French wouldn't do well in the area of Africa he's going. That's why he tried to give the dog to Sir Sergei, but Sergei thinks French and English bull dogs are a 'ill thought off shoot best rendered infertile'"

Aat that, the Fae Frenchi's eyes seem to get very large and there's a bit of a whine.

"It's okay, Bram. We'll get you a home." Siv says, "Hopefully be fore Mom or dad find out I did this without their okay. So, Dagmar, Baron, how are you two hitting it off?" She looks at both.

"Oh, Baron August seems real nice."

"Ah. Thank you."

"Well, you are rather kind, Baron, at least I've found you so." Siv says, then a look to Dagmar "Ready to bring the pack back in or want a bit more time? " She says raising a brow "I think Nocturne and Wing want to claim you and ask Sir Sergie if they can keep YOU."

"Well, we were talking..."

"August likes books."

A shy grin. "I do."

"Oh yeah, The Baron and Zara have assembled a grand collection" Siv says "Their library is really packed tight with options. "

"...New horse-books?"

"I don't know, but we can look sometime. " She looks at the Baron "Sir, do you remember any horse books?"

"I... do." Thoughtful. "There are horses as well-known as their knights.

"Like.. fae steeds? History books?"

"For us, history and myth blends" A smile

"Yes! I'm sure the library has....." He is off, moving across the lawn to the Freehold Manor "..... works that will explain....."

"You want to go with him, Dagmar? I can wrangle the pooches while you check out the book"

Blink... nod, and she follows.

It seems the Baron might have forgotten anyone else was interested... indeed, his own bookmark-finger has slipped as he moves with haste to the library.

"I'll be right back?" An intended promise for Siv.

"Yeah go before you lose him" she gives directions on turns and such for Dag to take if she loses him "Or just ask one of the staff."

Then Siv turns to the dogs "Okay ok...good dogs"

She tromps along after the Liam

He's at the library doors... but stops and waits for her. Ok, he's holding it open, but the point is......

"Hey."

The library is a dark trophy in this other wise shining trove of a hold. It is rather classy, though Dagmar may not know the differences between Edwardian and Victorian, she DOES know good woodwork , and the shelves are.

"Please, come in....." And once in, August is into the stacks.

"Oh.. this isn't... quite..."

"Salutations!" trills a little dragon, swooping down to land on August's shoulder.

A warm smile. "Bronte!"

"...There's a dragon."

"Fanfares and Hallucinations." Seriously to the bookwyrm.

Then, to Dame Dagmar. "She's a Bookwyrm."

"Your library has a dragon."

Bronte preens from her liam perch.

"Yes. And, at times, a Lion."

"Yeah?"

"Isn't Bronte beautiful?" Clearly, he thinks so.

"He's not a TAME lion." Bronte intones.

"Oh, she is!" Earnest, from the troll.
