"Well, not every dog has to do every job... right girl? Who's a good girl?"

Who? I... oh my GOSH is it me? It's me! I'm a good girl! the lab grin comes out as the tail wags furiously

"You ARE!"

Siv giggles and Dagmar feels and hears someone sniffing at her butt while her front is leaning over to pet the lab

"Hey now.."

Not one, but two beagles are sniffing her backside both to say 'hi' and also to see if she has food.

Okay, more for the food

"I don't have treats, sorry guys.."

She is instantly forgiven as they settle for attention, perhaps cutting the lab off. Beagles don't do wait in line well.

The raven coated lab sighs. Were her breed not so good natured she might be tempted to nip someone for rudeness.

Siv watches "Okay, for someone with no food you sure have a lot of popularity with the pups"

"They're friendly breeds. Help me otu here." Trying to pet all three equally!

Siv laughs and joins down taking one of the beagle's off her hands. Good naturedly, the hound is okay with being seized by a relative stranger and troll handled (softly)

"Wonder if there are any tennis balls..."

"Here," A new voice says, "In the closet. May I help you?" Sir Sergei eyes the dogs clambering out.

Well, the 'closet' seems to be more of a storage closet, small, as he opens it it, she can see leashes, collars, and yes, balls.

"Sir Sergei, pardon us sir, this is Dame Dagmar of House Gwydion, a good friend of mine, a cousin and a ..well sir, a hero. And she loves animals." Siv explains

"Of Dagmar the Hammerstrike I have heard" he says simply, "These dogs are not pets. They each have tasks and duties, but they are still creatures that feel great affection. You may, of course, enjoy their presence if you like"

"Ah." She rises, out of respect - managing to tower awkwardly over the sidhe. "I know they have jobs, thank you for letting me say hi to them."

"Perhaps you two ladies would like to make yourself useful to the dogs. They are in need of some excercise. " He hands the bag of tennis balls over to Dame Dagmar "You are not in my service to direct, but if you wish to assit with them, they require energy to be expended. I have kept them cooped up too much while the grounds were being tended. If you wish to use these to hone their hunting skills. Feel free."

Siv translates, "You... you want us to play with the puppies?" Delight

The Master of Hounds has the tolerant look of a wolf who must endure a cub chewing in his ear

"No, we're exercising them. And maybe some retrieval training." A grin.

Then he nods as Dagmar seems to understand "Just so. Thank you, Dame"

"I'd be happy to help."

"Come on," Siv motions, as the fae hounds, cainine chimera, and more follow out.

Dagmar finds the Labrador is just fit to burst, but well behaved enough to stay by her side.

These are, after all, trained dogs that know commands.

Even the beagles Know commands. They're just not sure they really apply.

Well, 'fetch' is a good one!

Sir Sergei does mention some of the dogs name.. .Noturne is the lab's

Nocturne IS a Good Girl!

She IS! And she loves to hear it! As a fae lab, she's even smarter than your typical lab, and that's pretty smart. She seems to subsist on praise and approval as much as affection, and she will leap , spring, and climb to get that ball and bring it back.

Siv sighs as the beagles, it turns out, well, they chase it, howling in that high pitch they manage, but sometimes want to turn it int oa game of 'chase me, two legger'

More comical, the names of the two beagles are 'Squire' and 'Page'. So as Siv yells for them, it gets..well, funny "Squire, give me the ball! Bring it here.. Page no! "

Dag snickers... just a bit...

"That's it, I'm a cat person" She declares but still plays.

"Well, they certainly can FIND the ball..."

Ghost, a Weirmaaraner, also trots around but seems less playful.

Which is fine - if he's enjoying the run and room, that's good

The youngest dog is a cute little thing who looks out shyly, needing to be coaxed. To Nocturne's credit, the lab seems to encourage the puppy to join them despite the fact they are clearly not relateed. Playing fetch with Dagmar to show the pup how fun it is.

She sits on the ground, to perhaps encourage the puppy out to safe shelter

Wing, for that is her name, is coaxed by patience, kindness, and a sense of confidence. Dagmar, at least when it comes to dogs, has these in abundance, and ... soon enough, Wing makes her way and sits next to her looking at the other dogs playing.

"oh, she's a sight hound like Racer what ever she is" Siv says

"I don't know what breed... I think she's russian? I couldn't tell you why."

"You know more than I" Siv says "Wow, you're just a regular disney princess with critters"

Dag can toss the ball for Nocturne AND fuss over Wing while sitting.

Nocturne is good with that.

"I heard the AEsin can talk to them..."

And Wing leans against Dagmar after a short time to watch...and eventually, she chases after the ball herself, trying to steal the ball from the bigger lab.
