"Yes. It's a lot of good looking people but I'm told that's.. that's your kith. But it's more than that. I KNOW you all. I met Leonora.. pardon, Dame Leonora... but she doesn't feel like I KNOW..knew.."

"Well, if you served one of us in Arcadia... those are deep memories. But probably fuzzy, too - the further back, the more lives in the mix..."

"That's what they tell me. It's why I remember a daughter sometimes and a sister another and. it's weird." Sheepish, "I.. you're okay?"

"Well... sometimes fae family emerge as mortal family." Feather fluff. "But not always in the same order - I'm older than both of my soul-parents."

"That's why they were asking about my mom." He says realizing

"Well, usually changelings emerge a bit younger..." A pause. "Or she had chrysalized, and has forgotten."

"Maybe.. I don't know.." Callimus says then coughs "I feel a bit weird not telling her so I hope she's at least..ah fae blooded I think the term?"

"That or 'kinain. Yup."

"Kinain, got it" He smiles, "Oh. uhn.. thank you Baroness" he corrects himself

"Just Sparrow is fine, really."

"If I am acting officially... you know, in court, or if Coradel is away and I'm regent..."

"Regent.. that..fits" he says pondering something "And Sparrow is a pretty name. " He looks at her wings "And makes sense"

She smiles and a happy wing-flit. "Thanks. Nickname, really - my full name is a bit of a mouthful. Derynwydd Truthbranch ap Liam.

"Derynwydd... Welsh? I play some games and one of them has a Welsh character."

She nods. "Welsh-ish."

"Cool. I'm told tomorrow is High Summer PRanks giving or some such where rules on mortals are relaxed. Does that mean I can ah enchant my mom and tell her about this?"

"That... that could work. Are you aware of the mists?"

"I got kind of a crash course but ..it messes with memory but don't take them for granted ist mostly what I know"

Sparrow nods and fills him in on the basics - memory being a fugitive thing!

"Right i mean.. talk about dcutting your nose to spite your face. WHen I heard about ravaging I was like.. who would do that? But.."

He nods "Always. I ... is there something I can help with between lessons? it feels wrong mooching off this hold."

"Well, your first job is learning. Give it six months, then we'll talk."

"Okay.. yeah sorry. Just.. nervous."
