(On the way there, August asks someone in passing to please see if they can ask Baroness Derynwydd to join them at Jack's; that has to be a first from August so......)

Jennette moves to deliver the message, Should she find the Regent, she says "I have unusual news"

At Jacks', Jack looks up, "Baroness... always good to have you. Take any seat you like"

"Hello, Jack." She gives him a warm smile, then turns to usher Camillus forward. "Jack, I'd like you to meet Camillus, who is fresh out of his dream dance. August found him and brought him here." A proud squeeze of August's arm. "Camillus, Jack tends the tavern here, and has been here since before I arrived. He's the...the collective memory of EarthRunes. And he mixes a wonderful martini."

"Camillus, nice to meet you." A hand comes out and shakes the fellow's hand/The new satyr says "Wow, are we like.. common? Satyrs I mean?"/Jack smiles "As a rule, House Fiona holds...tend to draw Satyr attention."

She takes a seat at one of the bar tables.

August tags along and gets her chair, then seats himself.

"Now what can I get you all to drink?"

"Well, Satyr's know a good thing when they see it, Jack."

Jack grins "That's true. Though I signed on with an Eiluned myself"

Camillus blinks "Eluned?"

"You're recovering," Coradel winks at Jack. "And I'll let you choose something for me. Something to match a good mood and summertime."

"Camillus, come sit. You still have a great deal to learn."

Camillus takes a seat, closer to August.

August nods careful agreement for himself at Coradel's choice. He'll have what Jack chooses.

Jack chuckles and starts whipping up drinks "I'll see what i can do. Vince is more creative than this old goat but I knew few tricks." And he says to Cammilus "SIdhe divide themselves into houses...political groups with common insterests and heritage... part political party, party lineage..."

August manages to keep his tongue still.

"Oh, now, Jack, it's not just sidhe, you know perfectly well."

"The sidhe may head the houses, Camillus, but there are many commoners...other kiths...in each house as well."

"Myself among them" Bachdion says with a smile

"Precisely, and House Fiona is bettered by your presence, teacher mine." Coradel gives him a wink before adding, "Of course, August here is trying to bite his tongue off to keep silent. I might even get away with saying that House Fiona is the best house of all of them." A challenging smile to her trueheart.

He clears his throat, politely.

A mischievous grin at the others.

"I'm missing something," Camillus says looking between the two sidhe

"House Fiona and my House, Liam, have.... ah, different approaches to wisdom."

"So..who's right? " Cammilus asks

"Fiona" Bachdion says "If you have to ask, Fiona."

Coradel laughs. "Oh, Bachdion, you're a terrible influence. Oh, August, go ahead...tell him what you think."

"After a great deal of, ah, re.... study..... I think there is wisdom in both."

"...but..." Coradel adds, "I'll admit we Fiona tend to be rather...impulsive in our wisdom, applying it as our emotions direct."

August just.... nods.

Camillus Says "Well, MY emotions are a mess.. I mean.. everything I feel I'm feeling hard. Bachdion says that's.. part of who I am, but I'm a bit worried my mom is going to notice"

Coradel relents, and takes the half-cloak that August brought with him. "Camillus, I'm told you were wearing this when you arrived."

Then to his comment, "Oh, I think that has more to do with your kith than any house."

"Yeah it .. it feels important.. the half cloak I mean"

"Mm. Do you know what this symbol means?" She unfolds it so the tree in the lantern is displayed.

August sighs.

"It.." he tries to recall, "It is the banner we carried...after we had to go.. to honor.." The young satyr says "I'm sorry, it's.. like a blur of images.. rather than anything ccoherrent"

August looks towards the door, as if waiting for someone....

Coradel nods. "It's okay. The memories may come, or they may not. It's okay."

She glances to Bachdion, to see his reaction to the cloak's design.

Bachdion is looking it over "This is.. a very professionally done bit of heraldry...and it sure feels like heraldry"

"Oh, now there's a thought. Somebody could whisper it, to see what it has to say for itself."

"I can give it a go," Jack offers.

"Whisper it?" The youngest satyr says confused

"We work magic, kid" Jack says

August shifts in his seat.

"August?" Checking for his input.

"I do not think it is wise to.... discuss this.... like this." Reluctant and careful. VERY careful.

Coradel looks at him a long moment, considering...then eventually nods. "Another time, Jack, thank you." She folds the cloak and hands it back to Camillus. "I am going to ask you not to wear this just yet. I hope...I hope that can change, soon."
