A plague! That's what it must be! Delores, Coradel, Innish, Leonora and a dozen others awaken covered in slightly itchy purple spots!

Leonora walks along, and when she things no one is looking, rubs her caboose against stone walls

An outcry from the infirmary is overheard by anyone walking by, "You MUST fix this! It clashes TERRIBLY with my glorious golden fur!"

Sidhe birthrights might protect one from cantrips that embarrass, but herbs and such skillfully applied?

"Oh. cher, non! Purple and gold are a classic combination - royal, regale!"

A slightly mollified, "Kingly, you say?"

Coradel tries to make the best of it, wearing a loose sari-like garment that does less to aggravate the itchiness...but she can be heard repeating to herself, "..don't scratch don't scratch don't scratch..."

"Imperial!"

Innish takes it with less dignity "Double damned holiday is what it is! EVERY BLASTED HIGH SUMMER!"

August tries Epsom salt and oatmeal in the bath....

...the bath is very effective.

Delores endures this with twitchy dignity

The spots seem to be marker and something sticky and green-smelling.

Delores will try a rubbing alcohol on one

maybe windex

The commoners are less lucky...

Of course, Coradel does go to the healer as soon as she can get there with dignity, trying not to twitch every couple of steps.

Emma fusses with concern... poor Baroness!

She has just the serum for it...

...which in a few hours, turns the rest of her purple...

But less itchy!

A wail from the baronial chambers.... "But this is NOT my color!!!"

After August's bath, he discovers all his clothes have been stolen.. and replaced. With a sexy fireman set up.

No shirt

"Come sit in the tub with me...."

Tight pants, suspenders that can fit over his man nipples.

THe hat

"Nothing goes with this shade!" she complains, searching her wardrobe violently.

Coradel pouts and petulantly goes to join him in the tub. "I look like a....like a....I don't even know what."

Sartorial delight still unknown, August welcomes her with a carefully blank expression.

While the bath eased August's spots, it seems less effective against Coradel's new hue.

She pouts at him. "You're not spotty anymore. Not fair."

The Baroness finds her clothes replaced to... a last minute switch.. an Eggplant costume

A sheepish grin. "Experience with poison ivy."

Leonora makes her way to the healer as well..."I have a... it's worse on my ah.." Gesturing to her backside

More tutting, gentle reassurance... let Emma help! Here, try this salve...

One more purple skinned sidhe later... "You know? At least i'm not a redhead or this wouldn't work."

Sadly, Coradel is in no mood to steep and cuddle in the bath.

But again, as promised - it soothes the itch.

August does not attempt to cuddle, but wisely keeps supportively silent.... and eventually tries to get dressed.

When she does discover the wardrobe switch...well...the resulting shriek of outrage echoes off the stones.

As does the follow-up complaint to August: "At least yours is SEXY!!!"

August is utterly nonplussed. "It's what?? I can't wear this...."

"You can and you should. It's totally hot. But this???" She dangles the eggplant costume from the tips of her fingers and pouts at it.

Worse, through out the halls, someone has paid the Troubadours to sing the same song over and over again "It was a one eyed one horned flying purple people eater"

"There's no shirt." He points out needlessly.

"You'll look amazing matter what you wear." He assures her.

"So will you! But...but....and eggplant? Really?"
