He grins, and ducks back in.

And a few minutes later, she's slipping into the shower with him, giving a still sleepy sigh and a smile. "Did I hear someone at the door before?"

He kisses her again. "Mm." Agreeing. "Magnus."

She returns the kiss easily, then gets under the water to wet her hair. "Magnus? This early? Is something wrong?"

He trades out with her easily. "No, something right, actually." He pauses, and catches her hand. "Are you well? Ok?"

"Hm?" She blinks, then has to clear the water from her eyes. "I'm sleepy, but otherwise fabulous." A smile. "How about you?"

He nods. "Very well, thank you." almost formally, but warmly. "Let's get cleaned up? Magnus is waiting, I think."

"Okay..." She smiles, her eyes twinkling a bit...and he may get the notion that she's taking it easy on him this morning.

"He can wait, if you wish." August steps closer, sliding his arms around her.

"Well, we don't have to rush, do we?" She combs her fingers through his wet hair and presses a kiss to his lips.

"No...."

((Some time later))

August opens the door to the room and allows Coradel to sweep out.

Yesterday was variations of clothing designed to impress and intimidate...but today is a light wash denim sundress, the full skirt still light enough to flow around her ankles, and the embroidered bodice showing off her figure quite nicely.

August is in ... his usual.

Magnus is gone. He did leave a note: Went off to kitchen

The Baroness is in a fine and happy mood, When they find the note, she smiles. "Good, we could use some breakfast."

He offers his arms, and escorts her there.

When they get to the kitchen, Coradel looks about to see if Magnus is clearly present.

Actually, he is. Looks like a strip of bacon and some eggs on toast

Well, that's not what he looks like, but it is what he's eating.

August smiles. "Sorry. It... took... ah. Well." A bit pink.

Coradel smiles and kisses August's cheek. "I don't think you'll blame us for the delay, will you, Magnus?' She goes over to him, and he gets a cheek kiss too before she claims a seat.

"Well, I won't wait as long next time, but other than that" A smile, "I'd ask how you two are, but I think the smiles say it all."

"Smiles often do." She winks at him, and requests waffles and berries from one of the boggans. "August? You should sit and eat."

"Ah. Yes. The same, please? And, ah, bacon? Thank you." And he sits.

"You were wise to send those thanes after Norm by the way"

"Oh? Something happened? I hadn't heard...."

"The local redcaps, I'm not sure but the thanes seemed to think that they wree about to run him through a gauntlet"

August's expression suggests internal conflict.

She's quiet, and her demeanor goes serious. "Well. I suppose that was to be expected. It probably happened, just not on this property."

Tea is served; might not have been ordered but... it is served.

A grateful look to the boggan who brought the tea, but she's troubled. "I...should I have offered him haven here?" Then a scowl. "But...his crimes. And the childlings are here...."

"the thanes at least gave a head start, and you DID offer him a chance to stay. He declined" Reminding

"Hm." She nods, and sips. The tea is very good, and she sighs a bit of pleasure at it. "Well...I doubt it's the last we hear of him."

"You did well." Quietly.

"Thank you. I think so, too. And...at least those who suppose me a permissive ruler now know that doing so comes with a price." Another sip of tea.

"And that may save a lot of lives and dreams in the long run"

"I can only hope so. Was that what you wanted to talk to us about this morning, Magnus?"

"Ah. No." August clears his throat.

"Oh, well, Yes, that's a secret." Enjoyiing his food.

"Well."

"Yes, but..... "

A blink. "A secret?" She looks to August...and he may perhaps be relieved that she is momentarily distracted by the arrival of their breakfasts.

"Thank you." Gratefully. "Coradel.... let us do this for you?"

"You sure you're not a little bit Eiluned, mother?" Amused smile between bites.

She takes an eager bite of breakfast before responding. "Fosterage has its effects, my son." Then she looks between both of them. "I'm not sure what I'm being asked to let you do. Tell me...how furious am I likely to be when you're done?"

"Very UN furious i think"

An amused eyebrow at Magnus, and she checks with August.

He nods, eyes down.

"Well...I will encourage you, then. I like being un-furious, though fury does have its pleasures, too."
