August chews on his lip and brushes his hair back again. He nods. "Let me, at least, talk to some I know who might be able to offer an opinion."

"Sure sure... and we shold talk to sis about it too I imagine. Don't want her feeling left out."

"Right." He looks down at his robe. "I should get dressed first.

voices down the hallway as two troubadours ..debate.

"no, no no, " Gideon insists, "I am not turning a beloved sitcom theme song from the 80s into..into that!"

"Beloved?" Stevie snorts "Neither of us is that old. Sides, it's fun, now just give it a listen..." She starts to sing "There's a new dom in the neighborhood, he's in the dungeon downstairs and it's..understood, he's here to make a sub of me! Like I was always meant to be. Master Charles in Charge of our days and our knights..."

"NO no no llalalala not listening" The boggan says, his voice fading retreat "No, world of nope"

"get back here! this is funny and they'll love it on pranksgiving but I need back up" The satyress gives chase "Argh, boggans"

August finds Leonora in the training ring (of course) and waits for her attention, not interupting.

Leonora is practicing with her bow, arrow flying and usually hitting it's mark dead on! She's good, damn good, perhaps the best in the barony though there are those who would put their dross down on Agincourt

He watches with a few levels of appreciation.

A whistle of feathering and..THUNK...not just accurate, but deep.

"Not bad, then again i am amazing. It's sword play I need to..." thistlesnort wags at August and gives him away. Leonora turns "Hey you," She says with a smile to sir August "How long have you been there?"

"A few minutes. You're very good. Amazing, even. Hello Thislesnort." He crouches and rubs.

"I am" she smiles while her Chimerical friend takes the belly rub with gusto, "Swordsmen get the glory,, but archery ends the story. I think I'm stealing that quote from Dame Agincourt, but i'd have to ask her to be sure. You're looking ...a bit tired." She notes then says "ooo... Baroness Coradel still feeling her oats after the legal victory with norm?"

He clears his throat. "She's... doing well after a difficult time."

"May I speak with you?"

"I think you already are" She says "No one else here, uhm unless you want me to send thistelsnort out?"

"No, no, that's fine. Leonora, you've heard something about me taking... a squire?"

"What I heard is you're considering and maybe flinging one at Magnus too" she smiles "boy, hate to be in his shoes"

"He wasn't... sure it would be a good fit. Have you ever considered taking a squire?"

"One of the young men who approached me would be, I think, an good fit for Fiona."

"O" She gapes for a moment "Uhm August... I am barely two years as a sidhe in this world" she says "I don't even knnow how to squire someone.."

"I don't either." Simply.

"Were you ever a squire? I wasn't."

"That's.. different. You're... well, for one thing you earned your knighthood in this life. I got sained with mine as a reminder. Also, you're smart, like, academically smart. You've probably taught before in other areas. What am I going to teach some squire? The escheat they should know. So... like what? don't shoot into the wind?"

"I worked as a summer camp counselor, true... but .... this is different." August sighs. "Ok. He's a sharp lad, it's just... he wants adventure and excitement in the .... the great wide somewhere. And girls. And... well, that's not really me. I want to help him, though."

"Okay, who are you trying to pawn on me?" she asks with a wary eye
