If Gideon had wings, they would droop.

She glares after the satyr, then turns to the boggan - as changeable as the sea, from storm to sun. "I am sorry for that unpleasantness. And I am glad that you found the courage to come out - it can be intimidating, to put yourself before others. But we would be much poorer for not having heard your talent. You are very gifted."

A blush, "I thank you. I.. is that offer still good?" Gideon says.

"Of course!"

"thank you then, Regent. I.. can play a bit quietly while other business gets done if you'd like ? I know you have more important things on your mind today than I." He offers.

"If you wish. If you need refreshment, Delores can show you to the kitchen. I believe we still have quite a bit of snackage left from last night..."

"Must have been quite a shindig" He says //"Oh, it was," Delores says. And motions to a servant, "Get some of that brie for the gent." "I did love the Brie," Jennettte admits.

"Well, Cora might like hip-hop.... but... oof. 'Nothing.' Contemptuous."

Leonora admits, "I have a weakness for the bad boy, but assholes are nother matter"

"I have no patience for those who disrespect others."

"Well, he wasn't far wrong. I'd never have come here on my own" Gideon admits.

"And so he is due our gratitude for that, but it does not excuse his other remarks. You are not nothing, Gideon. Do not let his wounded ego bruise yours."

"thank you, Regent" He says and his fingers begin to dance, playing a sweet folk tune.

the rest of the court day is a bit less eventful. And Sparrow soon gets the hang of it.

Some of it is memory, perhaps, experience from other lives.... but some is pure Sparrow, inclined to listen and smile and encourage. Happy to reassure, but mindful of her boundaries as Regent, not Lady.
