August knows better than to involve himself between family and/or kithmates, and remains silent.

"Yes, I suppose Ruzgarla or I might stumble onto a further chapter to guide you yet" Tziporah perks up.

Ruzgarla nods "Just so. We follow our feet when they call. "

She taps her nose.

Ahead of them, they see... a gate across the silver? Currently closed.

"THIS is not allowed normally" Ruzgarla snorts

A frown.

"It is not, what is..."

Tziporah moves closer and says "There's a plaque here."

Below is a rather elaborate oath of never standing against House Balor ever, either directly or indirectly.

"An Oath toll?" Ruzgarla is incredulous

Zara rolls her eyes, and starts kenning at the gate - looking for what enchantments may lie upon it.

"An abomination, which must needs be destroyed."

"I could portal passage through it, but it would still be here" Her sister agrees

Zara nods.

Ruzgarla grins "MIght I?"

The oath, Zara could tell, would be binding, not cripping but anyyone who took it and worked against the balor would be quite incompetent.
