"FEH!" Ruzgarla tries it out. Then admits, "You're right, that IS gratifying. How do we get August off that Wyvern before it stabs him?"

August weaves and avoids thhe Wyvern's bite as it cranes it's neck back, eyes now clearing. The tail wavers ready to strike.

"HEY, he got my dagger, August really IS nice" Tziporah observes "August, you can hopscotch down now, don't get bit or stabbed. Sis is in a bad enough mood as it is"

She pokes Tzip in the ribs.

OOC How far a drop is it?

"Oof" Tzip says obligingly. If you don't act like it had force, big sisters WILL poke again.

August, hanging onto the wyvern with one hand, flips the dagger end-over-end to catch it again, bunking for a Hopscotch down.

And down August goes, landing smoothly and looking.. fantastic. Sidhe are like that. You can out race them, out leap them, out think them or even outfight them, but THEY will make it look good regardless.

August gets a hug from Tziporah "You got my dagger for me, Thank you so much."

Ruzgarla observes as the furious Wyvern starts to come towards them "We should run."

Zara pulls her hood up over her head, and makes a swooping gesture over the group - casting a Veil over the four.

The Wyvern blinks and then... wonders where they went? IT's been a rough day for the Wyvern, it tried to get food for the kids, but the food stabbed him and left its claw embedded, which hurt. Then this little dude took it out, but wouldn't stick around to be replacement food. The mate is going to be furious when he comes home empty. Probably going to point out she had a chance with a dragon, and dragons always provide. To hell with it, the Wyvern thinks.. it moves to an area of the dreams of the King and I to eat Yul Brynner. He'll try Thai.

"Not bad, sister mine" Tziporah says

Ruzgarla says "My Lord August, forgive, but it is your intention that we are never to resort to violence on this quest?"

"Twas no reason to kill the wyvern. It has left, aye?"

"I'm more concerned about future encounters and what to expect. I don't wish to die and I want to make sure we don't hold back against every chimera we meet when it might get US killed instead" Ruzgarla points out

August bounces lightly as he reaches the ground; sticks the landing. He draws his blade to defend them but the Veil works and the Wyvern hunts elsewhere. He answers Ruzgarla "Violence is the last resort."

Ruzgarla sighs "Would that those trying to kill us felt the same."

Tzip says to Ruzgarla, "Kithsister, trust the Witch and The Marchlord to know how to work things with ideals intact. They've been doing it for many life times, most of which have stories beyond my full reach..annoyingly enough. Follow your feet, and trust."

"Trusting hasn't always worked for me , Kithsister," Ruzgarla answers "And tales are full of tragedy as well as heroism, but for now, let us be off."

"I wouldst not allow harm to mine sister, aye? Trust that, Traveller."

August nods, gets his heading, and leads on.

"Indeed, okay, since you guys caught up, here's my plan" Tziporah starts to say excitedly "When we get to the Duke's Palace, I put on my dance of seven veils... always wanted to try this. Seduce a noble, use them to get information I wouldn't normally get, and ingratiate myself long enough to find sources where the prisoners are held. I ddon't think the Duke is behind this, but I'm sure he could be useful, he or one of his knights. SO I seduce one of them, and bam, instant ally and my feminine wiles become legend and heroic."

They ARE closer to the Autumn world, and mortal age factors in a bit more again, so perhaps Ruzgarla raising a dubious brow to the younger wilder's boast is not out of place.

"What do you mean "No."?" Tziporah's mouth drops open, "You're not going to do it. You have a trueheart."

She doesn't look mad. No. That's Aaron's Gentle Disappointment face.

"Thou shan't."

"What... prisoners?" he asks cautiously.

And she notices the look in detail "Stop that. You're not pa Aaron. I'm sixteen, even by HUMAN Standards that's practically grown up" She stamps her foot in protest to defend her mature womanly nature

"THe carriages that were taken BACK to who ever where ever that people weren't able to stop. SOme may still be roaming, but others have surely made it back by now" Ruzgarla reminds August, "Multiple locations and abduction attempts? SOME succeeded"

"Granted, but that does not necessarily mean the fledgling are being treated as prisoners. Or that the Duke we journey to is responsible. It's our best guess that he may be involved, however...."

"However, thou art NOT Salome."

A DEEP Blush seizes Tziporah at that name "Totally different... " But she seems to be backing off "And BaRon I didn't htink the Duke had them either I just thought it would be a good place to start to look for them. " She looks hopefully at her fellow Eshu, surely she will understand.

Ruzgarla sides with Zara almost immediately, "That game is not reckless, which is our way, it is foolish, which is not. A new beauty unleashing herself to seduce so openly? You would be used more than the user, and as one who has been both, the former scars you..." A sigh "The latter can twist you.
