He nods to her

She's looking a bit peaky beneath the blue. But she can do something to help. She ought to.

She starts singing, quietly at first, not a traditional Funeral song at all... a bit of R&B rhythm.

She doesn't bother with accompaniment of guitar, instead walking along, she hasn't the strength to carry or move bodies, but she rests a hand lightly on foreheads, or closes open eyes.

Dagmar moves the bodies with gentleness, and a particularly stony expression.

Echo tries to help Dagmar, pulling at folks to help pile them, no fangs, just pull

The song trails off.

Dagmar stands back, listening to the song.

Piper wipes at her eyes a little. "I hope that works. My Mama Viola, she sang it at a Tragoidia, a couple years ago..."

Olgar has lowered his head during all this, then lifts his hand and spectral fire consumes the bodies... and something.. beautiful flows.. changeling souls floating like the breath taken before the first romantic kiss, hanging there like a Piper's last note , rising so slowly, like a seed becoming a flower in spring.

And the spirits cascade, some walk off the trods, others drift back on it... spreading... a parade of fae spirits walking with pride, joy, some sorrow, and mostly release.

Piper swallows, and says, "We might not remember this... but you will be remembered." Touching the bag of their belongings, a lifeline back to their families.

And Piper hears in her ear "You make me proud to be a child of pan..." It is soft but sincere... and then gone

Okay, now she IS crying, unashamed.

"Thank you, Kith sister" A voice rumbles in Dagmar's ear "It is good to go, with respect"

And the wheel turns before them "No," Olgar admits "We might NOT remember all of it in the Autumn world, but some part of us will always remember. Whenever you return to the silver it will come back to you- always"

Her head tilts up and she closes her eyes.

Olgar doesn't tell them to get a move on, doesn't order them to hurry it up. He waits. He's said his piece ..and this is not something to be discarded

"Maybe... she considers, then look to Olgar. "What was the name of that DeBuke girl? Sylvi's friend, she was lost when the dragon attacked, but then came back in red and black?"

She adds, "The rhyme was not intended." Wiping her face now.

"Satyr instinct. It was Kelby."

"..Is Kelby?"

"Maybe she or her housemates can help. There's so many more than we can help out ourselves, and this is just ONE little section of the path. Aren't their... I mean, isn't their house all about, like, traveling the dreaming, even off the path?"

"Just a thought, for when we get back. If we remember."

"That's a good thought."

"There's probably more souls, all over, that will need that kind of help."

"Kelby" he nods "And yeah, I hear she's doing good work about dark gate, but the Danaan are a rare house"

"Ladies, after you" He says to them

"Oh well, i'm the Rover. After me, if you're ready?"

A short nod, taking her position at the rear.

Piper follows, after tucking the IDs away carefully in one of their bags.

And they move on... eventually they will make it to Rowan Oak... which, as far as Piper was concerned, could have been ANYWHERE
