Olgar 's eyes narrow, and he reaches out and grabs the pole with hook by the center and rips it out of the sluagh's hand, he throws it, off into the dreaming.

"You bloody bastard, that was mine" if she wasn't a sluagh she'd be shrieking!

Piper stamps a hoof. "I was trying to be reasonable, but OOH, you make me tempted to butt you right off the path!"

She reaches up, and tugs loose a small chain around her neck. "Here. It's not a changeling treasure, but it's something -I- treasure. I'll trade it to you for the... the bodies, and their names, of what you fished out so far. You DID pull them in, that's true. And I offered." She offers a hand out.

"He took me hook!" She says

She tilts her head, and says blandly, "I don't see how that's my problem."

"Saving your life" Olgar explains "I'm SWORN to. " A wicked grin

Dagmar fades back a step at Piper's display of emotion, a crease between her eyebrows.

A hiss like a diseased cat then says "Fine, gimmie the chain"

She drops the necklace into the hand of the sluagh, and then says, "Now, get lost before I forget I said I was only tempted to apply horn to heiney."

It's no treasure, but there is glamour in it, of a sort, it radiates warmly of a mother's love, times two.

The sluagh blinks, taken aback by the love within, then nods and shoves a bag into the satyr's hands "Wallets and cards and such"

Dagmar frowns, quietly upset.

"Move" Olgar says to the sluagh "Before I LET Her kick you with a hoof"

She watches the sluagh slink off, then apologizes to Olgar. "I'm sorry, this is your turf, I shouldn't have butt in. I just couldn't help thinking of, like.. what if it was me out there, and Siv and Jonas, or my moms, never knew what happened..."

And the sluagh runs, muttering about seelie fools, troll bullies, and stupid sappy satyrs

"Sorry it cost you the locket, though."

"It was just a thing."

(Perception plus Alertness again if you like no bad if you fail)

Piper shrugs, and she clutches the bag of IDs to her chest.

"Piper, you done good." Olgar says "Some of those corspes could have been Rovers. More than a few. We'd be the first to die when it snaapped, at least in the numbers, maybe some Balor" A nod "But don't ever apologize to me for trying to get word to some rover's family that their loved one won't be coming home"

"I.... yes, Rover Olgar." She nods.

Both noticed that in her haste to move, the slaugh did drop somethings.. that's what happens when you try to take even the fancy voile. Stuff slips

"What's that?" Currently hands full.

"Hunh." She crouches to pick it up.

Dagmar picks up two things in fact. One a clasp slipped pendant...

the other surprise, a wooden dagger?

She shows the objects to the others.

"Huh!" A glance behind them to make sure that the nameless sluagh isn't still lurking or watching.

IF she's out there, piper doesn't see them.

"Neither belongs to any ROver I know" Olgar nods "Maybe Da'an is teaching greedyfingers there a lesson. Keep em for now, the two of you. SOmetimes the Dreaming provides things for a reason"

"True."

A quick ken, to see if either is a treasure.

All around the Dreaming shines, so kenning is tricky here, or too easily swamped depending on how you look at it

"When we have more time, maybe someone can Willow Whisper them to see which of the dead they belonged to. Nice to return them to their family, or Motley, if we can." Realizing that while they are bound to have some tabards or badges that show house, etc, it is less likely that the names on the ID will directly lead them to FAE relations. This might be a quest all in it's own... or maybe, something left to a boggan network.

But she thinks, yes, both might be. Not powerful, but yes

"Do we just... leave them here? Or return them where they were?" She asks Olgar, looking at the corpses. "I can't say I LIKE the idea of those critters from the deep dreaming picking at them like vultures, but it is a natural process, at least, of sorts.

She bites on her lip.

"Can we cover them, at least?"

"Or... " She considers, "I might not have the strength by myself, but you know, like how the vikings would go off on a ship, and set it on fire? We could prevent their bodies from being eaten while still returning them to the dreaming, that way... I don't have a ship, but I do have fire."

"...a little."

Olgar stops, then looks at Piper "GIve em a song. To send them off. I'll see to the rest"

"THAT, I can do."

"I can..." A frown. "I can move them close together."
