Clem huffs "You did this to me. I remember now."

"Always with the duty and the talk," the old woman sniffs "Duty has it's place, but it was gettingg in the way. You enjoyed flaunting your power. Do not deny it"

Memories of Clem's primal and spring in full use are strong here

the unseelie Chieftain huffs "Won't deny it, but I'm still thinking I should be put back if you please?"

"I will think on it," the old woman pours them each a bowl of stew , "And you, Kenzi... can you feel the fire you made?"

"yes, I.. I furking thought it would be in here" She admits

"No no, center of things, of course" The Witch dream assures them. Each motioned to a table spot and a bowl in front "Relax. Is no one you know" A grin

Zara settles, murmuring thanks.

"If it would please, know that Frisbee has proven to be a wonderful companion and guardian for my family." She sups on the stew. It would be rude to refuse - and, having eaten, she is now a Guest.

Indeed. the stew tastes like autumnn leaves smell. it tickles the tongue like a good chill wind tickles the skin

"AH, good good, such a creature needed a home" Baba Yaga says even as the other girls thank her, and try their soup. From their own reactions, it's clear each tastes different to each woman

"She is more clever than mine brother." Pleased.

"Brothers can be kind of dim, cousins too" Clem snorts

"No argument here" Kenzi rolls her eyes

Baba Yaga chuckles "Oh, yes. Men are great nuisances ...but well, they do make your world interesting. I hope you will not miss them too much here?"

"They have their pleasant uses."

Clem huffs "When they're here"

"I meann the farm ad.. bah.. sorry, I'm too blunt like this" Clem mutters in her soup

Gently. "My friend, you are always blunt."

"You are already blessed , Clemchick," the Grand mother and cauldron rider fusses at Clem "You will see. more than you knonw what to do with"

Clem gives a dubious look, nnot at Zara who is right, but Baba who cann't know what she's talking about as the farm is family mostly

Kenzi speaks up "Can we ask questitons now? Kittywitch , Clemchick and I are full of them"

"Oh sure, while you ask, I loan you shovel, you just keep digging" Baba Yaga tells her

"She means Zara's keeping a note everytime you call her 'Kittywhich'" Clem adds helpfully

A soft chuff and a shrug.

"Oh fine... then Zara asks first.. " Kenzi says "Unless it really IS only me curious?"

"Ask ask.. " Baba says "Such trouble you all were.. trying to do the working was I, and always with the sugggestions... 'what's the crop yield on that' 'phosphorus would be good' and of course 'more purple" " the hag of hag huffs "As if I have never made enchanted forest before"

"It is a lovely place. Perfect. A Haven for Witches, nu?"

"Da, you are all bright girls. A touch of autumnn in it so you do not grow too easily atttached to bedlam. A place for women who are not satisfied by the roles men assign them, who long to learn secrets of their own choosing... you are not meant to live here, you understand?"

"We could not... not and be all we are."

"But this haven will be needed by others. Oh these foolish girls.. they call.. grandmother grandmother... oh Cauldron Rider. The Genntle one.. they say hoping.. .why some..." She eyes Clem "Even use my name"

"Told you" Kenzi mutters

Clem straightens then says "Oops?"

She nods. "And those who need this... they shall find it with help? I can think already of one whose heart would weep with joy at the sight of this place."

"Oops indeed. So.. as I cannot have the buzz buzz buzzing in my ears..." the old witch scoffs, "I use Walpurggus ritual, annd three suitable for the task.. River, Field, and Fire..." a nod to Zara "Oh yes, and you are one of the helpers. Each of you is. Is price for ggood things I have done for you"

Zara nods, amiably enough. "I shall be certain Gerd is tutored in proper manners."

"Gerd?"Clem says "She's still on the witch kick. I actually wonder why she wasn't picked"

"Because she is wind, I did not need wind, I needed River, Fire and Field" Baba Yaga says "tthis is what i am saying: Young ones telling the cook what to add. Add more pepper, grandmama. Add more onion , grandmama... a bit more priest would be nice, grandmama. Never ending"

Zara smiles. "So it is. And mayhaps fitting, then, that the wind is the first to be found."

"So it is.. she is not powerful enough in her other fields to be a sorcerress, but she is closing... together young womenn may learn, nyet?" Baba Yaga says

"Priest?" Kenzi eyes her stew

"Figure of speech. " Baba waves off the nocker's concern "is broadway reference"

"She has the desire and the will, methinks."

"And other young women also will long for a chance to study among sisterhood" Baba Yaga says "And maybe they whisper less my name? Learn taht I am not always so nice"

"I'll warn them about that" Clem assures

"Respect is important." An arch look at the other two.

"Awwwww... " Kenzi grins

Baba Yaga wipes her hands "Good. I am leaving now, likely never coming back here. But you may each as one favor of me?"
