Those patterns are not unlike leylines... this swirl in the earth, that whorl in the mist. For a moment her chin trembles. Remembering a time when magic was fresh and new, and she sought, strove, and had all the pages empty before her, begging to be filled with fresh new knowledge. And so the cabin she turns to is not the most luxurious, but nor is it the one with the cobwebs and mysterious shadows, but one in-between... a pleasant looking, lofted affair with large windows, that seems it would be at home alone on a high cliff, with winds blowing in off the mountain, and even wildflowers - scrappy, tenacious things- blooming along the path.
