"GRANBERRIES!" she laughs

"I've had old berries, the squashy ones, but I guess they were still younger? Is there's elderberries, you think there's eldest berries? I should get those for Les, maybe."

She giggles. "Granberries!"

"Les is a pretty good brother then? He only smacks ya around when you deserve it?" Guardedly.

"He's the worst brother! He smells funny and makes faces like RAH!" She demonstrates, but her eyes are bright and feathers happily fluffed.

"My Troll, she never hits me unless it's sparring, but this one time I really thought she was gonna whallop me one. See, she turned into a boggan, and I thought I'd better make sure it was her, so I socked her one right in the gut."

Super serious, but then a grin cracks her crooked face. "She made a noise like if you stomp on a rotten pumpkin, like eeeeeeeshhhhhhhuhhgggggggggg

Briar observes this face and makes one back. "Like... RAAAAAH?!"

"Once, I dive-bombed his head and he let out a holler so loud the neighbors called the police!"

"HAW! They sent the wee-woo wagon and can't even arrest you cuz yer a kid!"

She squawks, appropriately spooked by the redcap's "Rah!" - and then giggles some more.

"I'm totally nocent."

"Well, good." She nods, satisfied. "Let's see if there's any blueberries in the kitchen and we can use them for Glasss's snoofer. She gotta smell something to track it."

She perks up, "And then we can eat the bait!"

She hesitates. "Yeah?"

She chews on her lower lip.

"You think there's such a thing as huckleberries?"

Glass perks at the word 'Huckleberry' perhaps ready to track.

"Maybe?" Curious! "Can you find 'em, girl?"

"Woof" And she goes off like a shot.

"Whoa!"

She snags Briar's hand, tugging her along to follow the dog!

Off they go, chasing after the blood hound, no longer a flop eared clumsy pup, Glass is a mighty huntress! Okay, still flop eared! And she shoots along the shrubs mixed in with the entry to the woods sniffing, snorting...

And a Chimera, who looks very human, nearly gets run over by the dog.

Head tilt. "I don't think we can eat him."

The human looking Chimara lays there stunned, "What dark times we living when a Gytrash like menace should knock even a harmless Shrubber over... while childlings discuss eating him." He laments the failing morality of the times.

"....Ni?"

He will clutch his ears "Oh not again!"

She covers her mouth to catch the laughter.

In point of fact, both as a pooka, and the daughter of a father who shows silly old movies now and then... well, it's possible AMity has at least one dot in Monty Python Lore. The Parrot Sketch maybe her favorite or her most feared.

"Do you have any huckle-gran-elder-blue-rasp-straw-berry shrubs?"

"I have no idea what you're saying but there are various berry bushes to be found if that guess is... accurate." / "BOWOOOO!" The sound of discovery. / "AH, that sounds near the Huckleberries," Roger opines.
