CC does surrender to pleas for a country song, choosing Jolene by Dolly Parton. This causes some light teasing of Jolene DeBuke.. but only light

And yes, CC slips at least one Jazz song out, but who can object to a cover of Armstrong's "What a wonderful world"?

He's right there with the sound that soothes AND inflames her passion; applause.

Cheers and whoops.. and CC sits down next to him as Spencer takes a few rounds

He has a glass of water waiting for her.

She takes it, "Thank you" She beams

"THat was amazing" June says

"Welcome." he sits close but not so close as to get in the way of adulation.

And some comes, CC smiles at the praise, and seems to beam, then she leans over to whisper to him, "You're determined to get me to have a good time aren't you?"

"Heaven forbid. Much better you should suffer." he murmurs back.

"Spoiling my pity party" A kiss on his cheek "We can go anytime you like now. I know this isn't your scene."

"Dearest, you misjudge me. I -am- a boggan, and we are social creatures even into our grumphood although we do love our own homes. I'm very content to stay as long as you like. The babies aren't even asleep yet."

"You sure?" but her eyes sparkle

"Yes!" firmly and even enthusiastically.

"I love you so much" She goes out to dive into the social aspects, oh yes, more singing, a few dances (He'll be dragged out for one) and charming. A few lads will be scarred for life here... in a good way. If they grow to be attracted to greek american babes who sing? Well, this was the origin of that

He'll keep an eye out for and/or on Agnes as well.

Agnes is busy, marshalling those under the hearth banner in waves (So they can have their fun) while she tackles Thanksgiving. She is not alone mind you

He ensures CC's staying hydrated and wanders over to see if there's any help needed in the kitchen, or serving. It IS what he does, after all.

Agnes looks over at the offer of help, "Well, you are a professional at this... sure, I'd be happy to use you. I'm proud but not so proud as to not realize boggans are quicker than a rabbit at some work. Would you rather handle cleaning dishes or preparing some pastry deserts ?"

"What will give me privacy?" with a sly smile.

"I'll arrange privacy for either. I know you folks prefer to not to be watched while you work, part of your magic"

"Then, whichever you will like done first." he offers.

"I'll get the pastries started, you clearoom with some dishes then we swap. Keeps things going smoother. I won't look at your business"

And so they do. EBG whips through the dishes at the speed of 10 Trolls, PLUS 2!

Easily! And, it does sooth him a bit.

"Good lord, are you done with the first two loads already?" To her credit, the Hearth has set up half of the pastries for a start. But he can get the other half in one third the time, "Well, help yourself to the other 50 pastries. THat is, do them in your style. Folks may appreciate a different touch "

"You are most kind, Agnes, thank you." and this, too, soothes him; working like this... as long as it's not cooking. No, not that.

No, just little decorations and touches. It distracts him, but a part of him wishes CC were doing this with him, even if she would slow boggan knack down. THen he remembers CC may try one of these, that this is for her too. And his speed returns and then some. That woman has gotten delightfully under his skin since he met her. Deadly, loving, beautiful, Kind and wicked.

She truely does make his head spin, which is a danger.... one he cannot go without.

Yes, focus is found and he soon has them done.

"I ain't looking, but you done yet?" Agnes asks

"I am."

"My word, I do envy your kith's ability to put foot to pedal as it were" She moves to him now looking over his designs for the pastries that await eating.

"I hope they meet with your approval?"

"They're lovely" She looks amused "I Note you put a lot of musical notes and what looks like CC's head on some of them"

He may or may not have meant to do that

A small shrug "I wanted them to be attractive." he plays it off.

"Like the one with the dark choclate hearts overlapping" she smiles just a bit

"Well, I am glad to hear it." he says with a wry smile.

"You give that one to your lady if you like, but we'll each grab a tray" She grabs hers

He hops to and takes a tray to follow Agnes with.

Folks SWEAR They're full, can't eat one more bite, but as those little sweets come out, well, ONE More thing can't hurt can it?

CC sees the two hearts one, standing by itself and looks questioningly at Emerson

He nods to her.

She takes it and takes a bite, then offers a bite to him.

Her eyes bright.

He takes it from her fingers with his lips.
