"Apparently, a witch had freed him from enslavement?"

"A witch, do tell?" Clem says

"Where did Chorus go? Does he live here now?"

Sniffing. "Does he eat snausages?"

"that's still being decided, but he's sleeping near the mountain's cabin" Clem says then looks amused at the squire "Why don't you go get a few sausages and go see if he..er they want some"

"Okay!" He dashes out the door.

Then dashes back in

Bows to Dagmar and Chief and after a moment's thought, gives Siv a salute. "ARRR!"

And then he dashes out again.

Sausages were surrendered.. and he's gone

CLem says "Odd boy. Lovable, but odd."

"He's a lot more than folks think," Siv says "He helped win Chorus over."

"He helped a lot."

"There was this.. swarm thing?"

"He helped get it off of us for a while, enough to get to the library."

Siv looks interested "A story!"

Clem says "I'll get the drinks. What'll you have, Dagmar?"

"Dr. Pepper?"

"Of course," Clem says and says " I know what Siv llikes"

"SPiced rum?" Siv says

"I know what Siv is getting" Clem corrects, and goes to get the drinks

Siv sighs "I have been rum blocked"

"Ha."

Siv says "Yeah.. I don't remember everything but that was a hard fight. I kknow they hate Chorus for who they were... but Chorus isn't that dcreature. It's like blaming a shark for feeding.. and then later the shark becomes a person... the shark can now regret, can NOW make choices of right or wrong. " A frown "I just hope I am the right on that. "

"I think you are."

"I'm glad that things worked out. I mean, killing monsters is one thing, but I don't like hurting something that doesn't need it."

"Sides, one person's monster is another person's friend" Clem says "A friend of mine taught me that. Though she put it in prettier words." She places their drinks down.

The chief has, obviosuly, returned

"Yeah?"

"Well sure. " Clem says "Some dragons are like Skallstryke.. okay maybe he was one of a kind. Others just want a good game of chess"

Siv raises a brow at that "Chess?"

"Chess" Clem says sipping her Mountain dew

Siv takes a sip of her own diet soda "Okay. I'm good with that. So, Samhain things happening here?"

"We tend to hole up for Samhain" Clem says "But some DeBukes will be going to other areas"

"I can.. I do feel it, like.. like feeling that way?"

"I don't take it so hard as the Chief, though."

"Yeah." Siv sighs "Best thing we can do for mom is give her space while we clean up and help now and then. She's been taking longer andlonger patrols in the woods."

Clem says "Nature is a haven to her I think. Like you said, give her space. " And to Dagmar "Well, Dagmar you strike me as happier seelie if you don't mind me saying, but I think you'll be fine either way . The Rover gives good lessons on how to direct it"

"I am happier Seelie, but, well.. dunno, life is pretty good. I feel more unseelie when I'm afraid of losing something."

Siv nods "Me? I mostly stay Seelie.. so I get a bit more..relaxed when the unseeie is on me. Big deal" She belches

A little snerk that is the trollish equivalent of a guffaw.

Clem shakes her head and smiles. More of a trollish 'heh'

"Well, used to I'd bare my midriff for a week every october,but no longer. Seele me is the leader usually"

"Does the midriff look work for you?" Siv asks

"Oh sure . I have great abs if I do say so myself" Clem says

Brow.

It is entirely possible neither Clem nor Siv has seen Dagmar's midriff outside of dire healing situations.

"Well, it's hardly the current trend I suppose" Clem says at the brow look

"Well, I've never felt the urge."

"Ah, but I bet you like showing off for Nadeen" Siv grins "She loves your eyes"
