"Don't worry, she can't hurt the terrain there, the storm already did that," Chieftain Clem assures Jaymes. "It's a big smooth square area of land, and I've elderformed most of it into more solid so it'll be more like street than farmland gone to seed anyway"

Jaymes grunts with some worry but gratitude.

"You got your helmet on?" Clem calls out

"Got it!"

"Careful," Grunt ("Like I told you) Jaymes says

"Sure, sure..."

Clem says "And remember , if something feels odd about the vehicle just let it stop and we'll take a look at it. Bix says it checks out." A beat "Mara wants to put a rocket on it"

"Ooo, could we?"

"Like, what if there are bad guys?"

"Let's not mess with the learning curve required " Jaymes says

Siiiiigh. ("Siiiigh")

"Mara's touches might be too powerful as it is" She says gentle "Not that I would diminish her work, she's brillaint but she gets ah.. very passionate" Clem nods "Okay, start her up, and give it a go , little weaving around the traffic cones. Don't worry, they're harmless "

She is careful at first - clutch, throttle, brake, OTHER brake.... it's a little stop-and-go.

Jaymes sways as he watches. Kind of VERY stoic pacing.

If she goes too slow, she wobbles...

it takes a while to find a comfortable speed to attempt cones.

Clem says "It's all about the proper momenteum for the traffic you're in..."

Jaymes grunts ("And not getting run over by a huge truck or an idiot in a car")

Jaymes nods . Trying to show support.

"Seems like" Clem agrees

Going faster, not A LOT faster, helps..

The Snipe chimera pops out and stares at the sight of the troll racing around

A fox with batwings flutters by, aka a Foxbat

Some folks get a shot gun.. Clem waves them off "They're just curious"

"Bet you could joust on these."

“Gosh.” Connor watches in awe from the sidelines, letting her get a feel for the speed without worrying.

"Bet you better not" Jaymes says BROW

"You really want to damage your vehicle like that? The other lancer would put such a dent in it" Clem says

"Not if I knocked'm first!" Vrooooom.

Jaymes grumphs

Clem smiles "Wilders got to wild, Jaymes"

Grumph again

Jack Flap says "She's going even faster than me now"

She makes a donut!

Jaymes now realizes why Olgar is bald

"Sweet!"

More donuts!

"Okay careful..."

She laughs. "This isn't so ba-AHH!"

And Jaymes breaks into a run as the vehicle tilts and swerves

The bike escapes out from underneath her as she tries to brake but clutches.

Luckily, at least, she DOES know how to fall and roll.

He moves to her.. and the bikee slows down

"Are you okay?" Her father says a bit too loudly

"Oh, that's gonna bruise. Is the bike okay?"

"No." he says "it's broken forever and you'll have to stick to horses forever"
