School is school and English is English, no matter who teaches it. Adam endures.

Adam's dreams were odd last night. He dreamt of thsi snotty new guy acting better than everyone in the class. He dreamt of being scared of some folks who made war on them suddenly welcome

Murry greets them "You kids are late for school"

"Did a Chorus come by here?"

"Yeah, damn near killed it before Siv spoke up.. her blood was all over it"

"That's supposed to be on the INSIDE!" he yelps!

"Blood? Why was Siv bleeding?"

Nab surely got snuggled, if she was there in his bed. If not, Dumas did.

"Probably because she got into some kind of fight. you'll have to ask her. She's at the balefire. Go talk to her if you want, but then , Connor needs to go to school"

"I can't go to SCHOOL. I'm on a QUEST!"

"Connor just helped me with a quest, he earned some hero basking time."

"And he deserves to see how everything turned out."

A look at the squire, then at Dagmar "Okay . Your call, Storm Clash"

"Thanks."

Off to find Siv!

And they go to the main lodge area, the flames riding high, and Siv a touch whiney "But I'm HEALED now..."

"And your clothes were a mess, and yes I made you shower" Chieftain CLem is saying

"Hey?"

Siv is wearing a sweat suit. She looks soaped, ringed, cleaned, and a bit sulky

But she perks to see them "Dagmar. Connor? How is the egg? did you get it in time?"

"We did! His parents were really happy."

"What's this about blood? Is Chorus okay?"

"Are YOU okay?"

"Chorus is fine.. their name is given to him by the Mountain. And he says Chorus will keep his intellect AND his conscience!" Siv smiles

Connor is already atop her lap, poking and prodding and looking for wounds.

"Does it hurt here? Here? Here?"

"And me? Ah.. I kind of had to fight three folks to get him to safety"

"Heeh ha! Stop that" Siv says

"Someone fought you?" He huffs!

"Did you give 'em What For?"

"Glad he... they'll?.. be okay. Who fought you?"

"Three warriors who came to avenge the damage Chorus did before Chorus was CHorus. When they were a monster.. I tried to explain. They wouldn't listen. Finally, as a knight I threw down the gauntlet. If Chorus had joined in they'd just have killed the poor hydra..instead I used the code to buy the time"

"..Dagda?"

"She won, but nearly died" Clem snorts "If Chorus hadn't carried her back here...she'd not likely have made it. She had more holes in her than swish cheese"

"Chivalry" Siv shrugs "And I'm healed now." A sigh "And showered, and soaped"

"Chief Clem! Did you plug up her holes with more cheese? Getitng hurt makes ME hungry."

"Well, quests need some danger..."
