The boggan looks tickled too.

Clem says "Folks... I don't know about the mother, but the healer is exhausted. Let's wind it down and let everyone get a rest. Caesar... am I right in assuming you wnat a chair to stay in here?"

"Willing to build one myself" he says

"Not needed," She says "We'll set up a cot for you. YOu'll be bringing April her food and helping her and Summer, Autumn, and Winter out"

CC fusses over each baby, like she never wants to leave, but nods "Yes. "

Agnes eyes Emerson curiously. Could she noticed his temporary distress? He begins to suspect she did.

Emerson waits for CC at the door, like a good boy, and when she's ready he escorts her out.

They walk out, and CC says softly "Baby. You okay?"

"MMmm...." he indicates he is, and indeed, seems chipper!

She nods..and takes him away from the farm smiling all the way
