It is not at the club, but rather their house that CC and Emerson are heading to. They hear their dog barking furiously from within

William frowns and steps in front of Callidora as his hand moves to an inside pocket of his jacket. "Go around behind the house." he whispers as he starts up the porch stairs.

She does.

Emerson gets a look at the door... it's open

someone picked the lock

Senses alert, he creeps up the three stairs and stays low (he's good at that) to peek in through the front window.

A human burgular who clearly has done this before but isn't top level quality. Really he's had agents that would scoff. Still, must be good at lock picks and bypassing tech. Emerson gets a glance of him him working at the wall safe.

And is undetected himself

An eyeroll, and he takes the little loaded pipe from his jacket pocket before easing to the side of the open door. Can he see the burgular through the open gap?

Yes. Sloppy that, but the guy is opening the safe so props.

The Dog barks his head off. The burgular sighs

*POOF* a cheek-stretching breath of air and the dart flies.....

(Dex plus athletics or Firearms)

a soft poof sound at most, and the fellow gets a dart in him.. "Oh shit" He staggers.

William pockets the pipe, draws a knife, and slips into the house.

The man seems to be able to resist the drug long enough to make towards a window... but he won't be up long

and the dog does what dogs do... gets in the way, and trips the burgular who SLAMS into the window

cracking it slightly

and then... the drug takes effect and the bugular goes down

William tsks. He'll cover the crack with cardboard later. He rolls the man over; injuries?

Dart in his hide

oh, and a bruise from hitting the window with his face

A snort of distain and he goes to the back door to let Callidora in.

CC comes in "Okay. What's going on?" She pets the dog who is acting like he licked the Kaiser

"A burgular trying to open the wall safe. Let's be sure the pooch gets a treat tonight." dryly.

Willam leads the way back into the living room and the down man.

"What fools these mortals be" CC hurumphs, but pets the dog even more

William goes through his pockets carefully.

CC helps him move the man if needed.

mmm... the guy has tools, but no id.

Willam gets a photo of his face and hands.

"Do you want to keep him to play with or just be rid of him?"

"his fingerprints should be easy" CC ponders "Why us? I mean, were their reports of robberies in the area?"

A small shrug. "The usual, I think."

"Possibly a 'fan' of the Club, or at least it's wealth" Mmmph "Greedy bastard. Okay.. by 'be rid of him' what do you mean?"

A smirk. "Say the word and he will disappear and you needn't worry about him any more."

"Ah, keeping me innocent, I see" She smiles at him "You're a few decades late on that, love but sweet of you. Fine, make him vanish as if he never was."

He gives her a bow, then trusses the man up and drags him out the back door, huffing and blowing as he manhandles him down to the ground.

Oh dear, this may involve some dragging...

CC calls after him "Need the dolly out of the basement to hike him along?"

She gets a sour glare and a reluctantly muttered "That would not hurt."
