The right of demense has him wrinkling his nose "How come folks get to tell other folks what to do?"

The fat old guy puts a finger in the air "Ah." in a teacherly manner "To an extend, that is as it should be. A man's home is his castle, and so forth. However, a single person in a position of power over multitudes, claiming that authority by virtue of some Dreaming-Blessing? Some superiority granted by an alien race or kith?" he's getting spun up; his blood pressure.....

"You mean like Prince John being a jerk" A nod "He owned everything so it wasn't a fair rule. Robin hood stopped him. Pretty good for a fox... but nope, mom says all men are created equal, and after that ...well, some depreciate"

"Don't forget haven though" CC reminds the boy "We are all owed shelter from time to time"

"Yes, like fairy godfather said" He nods

Callidora gets an eyebrow.

CC shrugs

"Hmmph."

"See, I always always listen" the boy says proudly

"As I said, there are places you can go. You'll be able to feel them, smell them almost."

"Great, where do YOU two go ?" He pops the boon confidant without even trying

"Oh we have our own place" CC belts out before she realizes she just revealed too much

He coughs.

"I mean, there is a hold nearby that's commoner friendly" She corrects

"We -could- drop him off....."

HER turn to raise an eyebrow "But it has few responsible adults to mentor you if any"

"Rather like Lord of the Flies....."

CC gives him a LOOK, then says "Now you can't tell your mother about ...."

"Stranger Danger! " He gasps

CC sighs "Yes, that is what a dangerous stranger would say, but remember that Right of Ignorance?"

He ponders "Maybe I ignored it"

"Keeping the Right of Ignorance will protect your mother." seriously "Mortals cannot be let to know about us. And, we do not fair well under close scrutiny."

At that he nods, his foot taps along the kitchen floor a bit nervously "Protect mom"

"And yourself."

"oh sure" then "Sorry I unleashed a mountain of Salt on you... " he seems contrite then "It wasn't funny at all"

A sigh. "Apology accepted, Slyfoot."

The boy beams "You both love me! Awesome! "

CC says "Let's get you to your mom's for now. You can show us where you live and we can talk about how we found you lost or something"

"I should dress." he is, indeed, wearing his robe and slippers.

That robe belt sash is doing a hero's job.

"Oh, yes" CC says "I'll get him more juice"
