He chuckles, and crosses the street "Pardon me... do you have the time?" as he approaches, perfectly harmless.

A roll of the eyes, then he looks at his watch while still talking on the phone "Sec, Marcy. Some people dont' have a watch or even a cell phone that tells time" it's not quiet enough to count as keeping the disdain quiet

He waits, mild as milk.

The man gives the time to him

"Thank you. Oh, did you drop this?" he bends down, scoops up the $20 bill, and holds it out.

The man takes it, second nature...

And BOOM.... he might just see the world a little differently.

He gasps and looks around "What I..."

The phone squawks as whoever Marcy is, she speaks up again

He looks down at the phone which now crawls with small chimerical spiders... after all, it has 'web' access. "Marcy I have go go" he hangs up and throws the cellphone away "Ack"

The one-eyed little... eyebrows... and .... ears and.... smirking guy chuckles.

"What the hell?" He backs away "What's going on?"

CC laugh from her hiding spot, throaty

"Welcome to the Carnival circus." the portly man bows and turns to talk away "Good luck."

CC flings a cantrip at the man... and yes, Emerson hears 'carnival music' just briefly. He's sure that's now the sound track of the man's night

He saunters in Callidora's direction. "Your turn?" an offer.

"With him, or a new play thing? He'll be hearing cheery pipe organ music on and off the whole evening"

"Oh, up to you. He -could- stand to be taking down a notch or two. That watch is interesting; it looks to be the only new thing on him. I wondered if perhaps he was recently seperated or divorced; his clothes and shoes and phone are all second rate, but the watch is not. If a man were to elevate in status, it would not be his watch that would be first upgrade, hm?"

"Maybe a gift? mmm hold on..." She moves to the man who is freaking out at this world

A bit later, the man walks off in a daze. CC giggles as she returns "He'll be announcing the time and "all's well" every hour on the hour"

He chuckles too. "Hm. Should I get his wallet? We could follow up with him.....?"

"Already gotten. I didn't want him buying his way out of a problem" She hands over the wallet

"Now, who is next? " A wink

"Oo, thank you." he pockets it "Your turn!"

"Okay.. mmm the field trip with the senior class or the two couples dining? " She smirks

He waves a hand airily "The teens might have some hope left to them. The couple... well, I know your soft spot for romance."

"Oh sometimes I enjoy shaking them up. I wouldn't destroy 18 year old dreams, of course"

"As for the couples? Mmm maybe liven up things for them?"

"I've seen you -devastate- teens, of course. Always a pleasure. Which would you prefer, Dearest? The couple or the teens?"

She ponders "Have the teacher and the guide give the senior class a show, or see if I can introduce a bit of Poly to the foursome? "

"Got a bit of dross? " Amused

He pats his pockets and finds some. "I packed for this."

She takes it , and smirks at the dross, "So fitting." The dross is a valentine left over it appears

"A little added boost."

And she moves along humming then singing "Mystery spead its cloak

The gift of pan mixes with a bunk, a cantrip working and the four friends look up memorized and .. relaxed

Emerson watches as CC wanders up "Hey, you four... let's talk about feelings, and how reality is what we make of it"

He only hears bits of the conversation. One of the wives, Tonya smiling admits that there's more she'd like to try but she doesn't want her husband Stefan to think she's 'weird'. Stefan is surprised... looks like this could turn into 2 years of conseling in less than an hour as well as playtime for CC

Ivan confesses that Tonya is attractive, and is surprised when Danyelle, his wife, agrees

William bustles over to the waiter and orders a bottle... two bottles... of the best champagne in the house for their table.

"Yes sir, right away"

And he tips BIG before disappearing again.

Soon, CC is kissing each one in turn, then guiding them to exchange some kisses among themselves

He thumbs through watch-guy's wallet while he watches.
