'Mmm" She pets strokes Emerson "Eagerness can be coaxed, but not taught no"

"What are your thoughts for next steps with Paul?"

"i'm not a forgiving woman, I don't mind the idea of tormenting him. I was thinking of arranging a nightmare where he was pregnant, got fired, nothing fit, and the world told him he had to keep the baby"

"I could try and determine where he is, and we could visit after work tomorrow."

"Sounds good" A kiss "Make a date of it"

"It shall be as you say."

"So, late dinner? I can cook you up something for managing all this"

"I -am- a bit peckish. All that running around."

"I know" A nod "So, does my man want a steak, or shrimp? "

"Oh, a steak I think. Thank you. Shall I open that bottle of merlot? Or the burgundy?"

"Mmm hero's choice" A smile "Though if you must make me pick, I do think that bottle of Burgandy is a really nice sample"

"Done." and he bustles off to get it set up.

And she starts cooking that steak just the way he likes it.

Rare, yes.

"Sure you don't want this one to at least SEE the fire?" Light teasing

"Pink, please." from the spot where he keeps the wine.

"Bloodthirsty " But she chuckles and mixes in the rub a bit, but rare it will be

"I'm going to go up and get changed... can I bring you your robe, or something else?"

"Oh, please... get whatever you want to see me in"

A bark of laughter and his footsteps head upstairs.

A smile as she hears his laugh

Some running water and footsteps up there.... and he returns.

And finds his dinner waiting for him

"Join me?" He pours them each a glass.

She does "Thought you'd never ask"

So they divy up dinner and enjoy.
