Stodgepole moves so Boofer is visible.

"Boofer" She moves towards her dog and hugs her

"Have you contacted the police, and that attorney."

"I have, Sharly helped" she answers "As soon as I mentioned your name the lawyer said not to be worried about money, just focus on my safety and that he'd help that"

"Wonderful. Did the constabulary indicate they would attend Paul at your address?"

"Yes they're sending a car by in the next hour. They advise i get away for the night" She pets Boofer

"You'll allow us to put you up in a pet-friendly hotel?" he suggests.

"Yes sir, thank you."

"Wonderful."

"You have transportation? You might leave it here and use a taxi; less chance of him tracking you that way."

"I was going to drive her there " Sharlen says

"Excellent. I'll make a reservation, unless you have already done so?"

"Not yet" She admits "I have to find one that takes Bassets"

"I have a short list, let me call." He flips through a small black notebook, and makes the call.

Soon it's set up, at a reasonable rate. Heck, she can even use a pool... Boofer can't use the pool but hey

"Now.... are there any personal items you need for the night?"

"No I... miss CC gave me an extra change of clothes from the backgroom"

"Well, here." he pulls $100 out of his wallet "A drug store should be able to provide anything you might want to pick up." he folds the money into her hand.

"I.. thank you" SHe says then looks to CC as well "You're the best bosses ever"

"As I said, I dislike losing an talented server. Tomorrow we'll investigate retrieving your things if needed, but hopefully Paul will have decamped. I will have Hugh pick you up in the morning."

"Yes sir."

"Come on girl, I'll get you that ride to your hotel, you and Boofer" Sharleen pats her friends arms

"Sleep well." he wishes to them both.

ANd off they go

CC pats his butt "You done good, I believe is the phrase"

He chuckles. "We can depart as well, but I'd like to drive past her house if you don't mind? It is a detour...."

"Fine by me, dear"

"Let's go then." he locks up, and off they go on a wee drive.

There's Paul ranting about demons "demons on her side..." As he's slammed against a police car hood and cuffed.

William drives past, slowly but not stopping; a lookie-loo as one might find.

"That should give us tomorrow to arrange things."

She gets a side glance "I do believe you're right. "

He rolls them past, and then home.

"Now remind me NOT to set her up with a rebound guy too quickly. You know how I get tempted"

"A wise thought. Let her heal somewhat from the trauma."

A nod " I will mix in a few songs though. Hit the Road Jack maybe an opener her next work day"

A chuckle. "Excellent, if her mood warrants. He's not completely removed yet."

"No, the surgery continues"

"Still, a good start."

"Oh yes, excellent beginging to the 'jerk ectomy'" A smile

He gets them safely home and contacts Hugh to let him know to coordinate with Bobbi for pick up and to secure her things. "When you pick her up, bring along new locks to install and so on. I will contact a security company and set up an installation."

Hugh nods

"Lock her up!" He beams, then says "uh Lock her safe!"

(I thought he'd call Hugh since they're home, but maybe he came over.)

"Good boy, Hugh, thank you."

And off he goes
