So he does. When CC finishes, she peeks into the office "okay how did things..." then she smiles to see the basset "Go?"

"Swimmingly." with a smile "I left him a few visions and sounds to drive him mad."

"Oh my. That should make the police mre motivated to obstruct him" A kiss "You are the best boss"

"Well. I try. She has the right to choose."

"I think she still needs a nudge of support. I suggest we make sure she and Sharleen have the same schedules"

"Easily done. And you will have no little influence on her; have you spoken with her?"

"I have. I confess, I may have given her a martini or two to get her chatting. We had a good cry together"

"Thank you. I think we've done what we can for her, short of a trip to Kansas and putting the final nails in Paul's coffin."

Sharleen is talking to her friend but looks up to see the bosses "Hey, she's fine. Miss CC we got her another martini, that okay?"
