CC comes out of the club, and heads to her car, she stops, and stares. Why does it have a slashed tire?

Emerson notices the slashed tire, but he also notices the the outcold body of their redcap bouncer thrown in the dumpster. And that means, someone is trying to kidnap CC!

CC reaches for her phone to call tripple A when she says "Signal's not getting through"

"Callidora, you have forgotten your bag. Come back inside and get it." he says quietly but firmly as he unlocks the Club door again.

CC turns , then realizes something is up "Right..." And then the tranq dart hits her neck

The second shot from the shadows ? He only narrowly avoids it. Someone has an air rifle shooting drugged dart!

CC curses clutching at her neck, "Honey, I .. I got less than a minute.. i'll try ... lead them off of you" And she runs away from the club , satyr speed still impressive but she's already having trouble with footing

"DAMNIT CALLIDORA!!!" He bellows, starts after her, lunges back to the door and inside the Club, cursing like a nocker.

He immediately spins to look out the windows for any sign of pursuit of Callidora; is anyone chasing her? That redcap in the dumpster; could he reach it from the back? Are there any staff still in the Club??

Oh yes, three men come out of the shadows, blacksuits, ski masks despite the heat and give chase after her. He can see two have rifles (Air rifles) in their hands... they didn't expect her to bolt that way it seems

the staff in the club is mostly emptied out... clean up crew mostly. rocco, the redcap, was on guard detail and he's no slouch, but alas he's in a dumster

Cursing fit to BEAT the nockers, he dashes to the office, gets his weapons (a gun, his small knives, some specially treated puncture-weapons) and a handful of dross. Knowing he's lost precious time and is not going to be able to catch them, he runs back for the best door to follow anyway.

He does, but he knows he's behind... maybe CC can focus enough to veil herself before she falls asleep? But how to track them , let alone her?

A wisp; that he can do, easily. And does.

And that gives him the edge he needs, following it

He has a sharp little knife in one hand, held low and out of the way, and his hand on the grip of his firearm; all his hunting habits engaged.

It's been awhile since he's run this hard, this fast...

Love and will carry him along his stout legs, and he closes on CC, the mortal men not having his advantage of magic and so they are about. He spots them before he spots CC... they ccan't see the wisp shoot by them. they're in a network of alleyways and she's tried to hide, but they're closing.

And he sees one of them first, but they mgiht spot him in return

He draws his weapon, looks for cover before he starts firing.

He finds it, and lines up

Knife first; throw it, then follow up instantly with the gun. Avoid Callidora at all costs.

He hurls the knife, just as a fucking pigeon swoops down.... the bird that was looking for a crust of pizza dropped by someone hours ago gets it right in the chest, squaks horribly, and the gun man turn "What the fuck was that?"

One fires a dart at him, and thank god misses, but EBG has been made!

He opens fire, with care; no rush. Chose a target, aim, breathe, squeeze.

(Dex plus Firearms. Can we get a Double botch? let's find out!)

Carefully Not tempting the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing EBG's shot rings out and nails one of the air riffle man in the the firing arm. He won't be hauling any sexy satyresses away with that broken wing

"we have a shooter!'

"We took down her guard, who the fuck is this?" Another one says, "Switch to real guns, you fools"

They are taking cover

and trying to switch to real bullet shooting stuff

William is already under cover, and takes aim again on the one closest to Callidora, or the next best available target.
