She rolls her eyes, "Oh fine. Emerson, you know where they go . Caesar, follow his lead. How's April?"

"Beautiful, and ready to graduate." he answers

"We must have a celebration." he points out.

"Definitely" CC agrees

"Caesar, you can find out what would suit her, discretely?"

"Sure. I'll get the sneak on" A wink

"Good man."

"Best son" CC kisses Caesar on the cheek

He smiles "Good to know.. Thanks"

"Caesar, will you stay for a meal?" Emerson invites.

"Sure" he says

"Lovely" CC brightens, "you sit down, watch some TV. I'll cook something up"

"May I assist?" he offers.

"OH you two have some guy time." She insists

"May I bring you a glass of wine, then?"

"Oh you simply must spoil me. All right" She says "But no lingering in the kitchen otherwise mm?" Is she plotting?

An eyebrow, but he obeys; he gets a glass from the bar but the chilled white wine is in the fridge so....

She's working covertly. In the kitchen? Mmm

He pours her a cold glass of Chardonnet, and crosses to give it to her.

She takes it, then kisses him "Now shoo. I have a suprrise for you... least I hope you like it"

"You -know- I will." he says quietly with an evil glint, and shoos.

Caesar is watching TV, and ...frowning. Odd, as it's a wrestling s show and that's his biz

Emerson notes this and takes a seat. "Well." settling in "What have we here?"

"Some judgey judies" He scowls

The tv appears to be an interview between the interviewer and a younger wrestler . The interviewer says "some are calling you the next Caesar, how do you feel about that?"

`"Oh dear me." he watches, despite himself.

"Hey, Caesar always put on a good show" he says i nthe past tense, "But I'm not forgetting where I come from. And I'm still hungry. Caesar is gone, I hope he enjoys his retirement. But now it's the age of Kings!"

The interviewer grins and looks at the camera "And that's the word from Kenny King! On his way up and still very much here"

Caesar

Caesar scowls, "I'm not retired. Not yet anyway"

"Hm. King."

"Yeah. You know the irony?" He says

"No, of course you aren't." Emerson assures him "Far from it. Irony?"

"Yeah, the irony is the guy is rumored to be a troll. Or maybe a kinain with troll blood"

"-REALLY-?" he says with intense interest.

"Really... I haven't met the guy in person so I haven't 'seen' him off camera, but that loudmouth is rumored to a troll. Punk has no class so I hope not, but boggans I trust have filled me in"

Finally some wrestling starts up in earnest

"I really must pay more attention." he murmurs.

And he does, watching the wrestling; from his expression, he doesn't 'get' the sport.

Caesar smiles "The athleticism is real, the results are often prescripted. Think of it as opera, but instead of singing, there are body slams. That said, there are large chunks that really are open and not sure... got to throw those in now and then."

"And.. I mean to have a throw down with Kenny King" A scowl returns "If I can get it arranged"

"Really?" mildly "Do you think he dares face you?"

"More like the execs may want to do the scripted thing. Possibly against me... they're still mad I didn't play the bad guy. But for me is possible too. Kenny is talking a lot of shit about me when the cameras AREN'T rolling. That's what I'm taking personal"

Delicious smells come from the kitchen

"Hm. Interesting."

"Okay boys, we eating on the sofa or ccoming to the table?" CC calls out

He lifts an eye brow at Caesar. "Guest's choice?"

"It's a trick question" he says "She's trying something new and wants to off... she'll want table"

He nods and calls. "The table, Dearest! Like civilized people. Shall I come set it?"

"Please do" She calls out
