William huffs; he seems more upset losing a prize to a Sidhe than losing a prizze at all.

"Useless." he grumbles.

"Sorry, darling," A kiss on the cheek, "But that's still two things we KEPT From him"

"Hmmph. He had to grab the book, not the gorgon. -That- I would have been accepting of."

"Oh, if only he had, a statue in front of an open bag..."

He whimpers a little, nodding. Then he sighs and deflates slightly.

"Darling, this IS still a victory"

He gestures that CC should take a look at the prizes herself, although NOT THE GORGON BAG. That has been stashed in the closet.

And she peeks "A lantern and a snuff box? mmm"

She kens "Something IN the lantern. VERY curious."

"A Balefire flame?" dryly.

"No it feels..." She brushes then says "Darling.. have you KENNED it, really kenned it?"

"No, Dearest. I was trying to avoid the gorgon's gaze, the poison gas, the bloody Sidhe....." my, victory makes him snippy! He turns his attention to the lantern and kens it.

It's like a dream dance in there, at least two dream dannces not rippinng

"This is a container for a fae soul I think. I've heard about this sort of thing... collected before it could arrive."

He squints, as if that will help him know what kind of souls are in there.

"Well, let's take a look at the snuff box shall we??" She kens it "Now it's a more typical treasure" She openns it carefully, "Potent." A bit of a snuff is in, perfectly preserved, "Shall I try it?"

"Close it. I'll take it to the hotel and test it."

The Necropolis Arms is where he keeps most of his lab materials for his pharmacutical pursuits.

She closes it, "Spoilsport, just because you're an expert who knows what he's doing" A huff

She holds up her hands "Oh fine fine.. break out the bigg guns why don't you?" a pause "What DO we do with a preserved Medusa head? Put it in Hemlock's lost and found?" a beat "I am joking on that last"

"Hmmph." the sound says 'lacky traitor' but he doesn't argue.

"Now, if we want to mail it to some other local with a nnoble, I'm listening"

She pats his arm "And THAT would definitely involve the Chieftain. You know it is. he sneezes, she catches the flu."

She can see he has no problem with involving the Chieftain.
