"What do we do with it?" CC sighs staring at the lantern with the fae soul in it "You hear about these things. Rare, but not unheard of"

"Hmph." William looks up from his paper "I admit I am torn. The last thing I want is another Sidhe soul in the world...... if it -is- a Sidhe."

"I don't think it is.. but it's a guess and a vague omen" She admits

A disgruntled sound. "Your powers are formidible but should we seek a stronger remedy? Although that would reveal our posession of it."

"Would Willow Whisper do? Maybe it knows what's in it.. specifically?"

"You didn't try that?" he frowns "-I- didn't?"

"I don'tt think so, but pure glamour or treasures aren't easy to read."

"So we shouldn't try?" an eyebrow.

"You worry I use too much glamour"

"I do." he agrees. "So I should do it."

She hands it over "If it

is a sidhe soul we can keep it on ice for awhile"

He nods and puts his paper down to take the lantern.

"OH for a barrel to live in, and a lamp to light my way! That is how one finds a wise man when you search in the light of day!" he improvises, lifting the lamp and declaiming the verse in a theatrical manner to enact the cantrip.

CC watches his bunk, delighted "Like a tea pot playing the part of the statue of liberty"

He gives her a LOOK.

And the Cantrip flashes over the treasure and it waits for the first question

"What is the kith of the soul you hold?" he whispers directly.

"Which one? for I hold two"

CC raises a brow at that

"Either one."

"A playful prankster is one, what type of beast I could not say, it'll tell you lies and vast untruths, but you might smile anyway"

"What is the kith of the other soul?"

"Somewhere over the rainnbow, you'll find the treasure they keep. They know the best fighting words, yet are good friends indeed" It answers

"Clurichaun?" CC guesses quietly

He nods. "How may these souls be freed and embodied?"

"Open me near mortals... and if they be not too banal I'll infuse"

"Oh my. They might be 'Arcadian' commoners instead of changeling way. How odd" CC observes

William pauses before responding to CC, to determine if the cantrip gives him another question.

It lets him ask one more

"How might these souls be destroyed?"

"Open them where there are no bodies for miles... banality of this world will eventually destroy them.. and you will have murdered two dreams"

annd it's over

"A cantrip with a gguilt trip attached" A nose wrinkle

" 'Murdered' is rather strong...." he murmurs reproachfully.

"Well we know.. at least they aren't sidhe" She says

"I'm tempted, now....." but he clearly still as misgivings.

"But?" She moves to him

He sets the lamp down. "Well, they may be common but are they royalists or no?"

"I thought of asing but I did not think the lantern would know."

"Hard call... mmm bit of soothsay might tweak their direction in new lives?"

"I would not risk you to Da'an, Dearest."

"It's a gamble, but there you have it." She admits "We can coax annd take a risk, or open and hope .. but I don't think we can just sit on this. That IS tempting fate"

He huffs, and rises to go to the bar cart and pour them each something brown. He brings her a glass.

She takes it, "To your health"

"To yours."

He sips.

And eyes the lantern.

She notices him "You act like it will bite you"
