He slides his suit jacket off as he moves closer for a long, slow kiss hello.

"Mmmm...." a pleased sigh as they part "You look delicious."

"Thank you, let's hope you think the same about the meal. Take a seat, I'll get your shoes off" A wink

He chuckles. "You get down there for that, we might let dinner get cold....." but he sits.

She pulls his shoes off "I'll be good... enough" Ad she does back away after his feet are free, ad she smiles "Now eat"

He might wonder WHY he is being spoiled

Though she has done such things now and then without warning

He gives her another smile and gets her chair for her. "Join me."

"mmm well, if you like" And she does

"Oh, I definitely like." almost a purr as he seats her and then retakes his own seat. "Oh, this -does- look wonderful...." and he takes a bite. "MMph."

Of course! He chews, swallows. "Oh, this is fantastic. Dearest, to what do I owe such pampering? Whatever it is I must do it more often....." bite.

His fork pauses and after a beat he looks up. "Dearest?" in tones of dread.

"Ahem. I got involved in Rivervale business ..somewhat"

"You were going to have Sally Mae take word of our suspicions to them...." he agrees.

"And Sally Mae was about to do that... but then shit hit fast"

And she relates the attack on Jaymes

"Now I wasn't there, but when I saw the news while visiting the Wayburtons, i wasnn't hard to guess what was happening, so I went to the hopsital"

"You just -happened- to be in Rivervale visiting the Wayburtons?"

"Oh I was also plying them for information, more details about the fall out, you know thep rofessor loves to talk, but I certain didn't expect a HIT on Dame Dagmar's father"

"Dame...." he scoffs between bites. At least he's still eating. "What happened when you got to the hospital?"

"I know I know, but her father is as common as they come. And Frrank's brother" A shrug "the hospita was all you'd expect, busy, gray, drainingg but not too heavily so. I saw the young troll making a fuss with a nurse, who was not about to let her go to see her father while a surgery was going on.. and I intervened, fuddling the nurse to see me as an authority figure... and took Dagmar for a talk and walk. I got some informaiton out of her... and, she feels indebted. Then I met Symon. Oh, a pity the trolls got that boy first. He's smart, I mean, Dagmar is clearly smart heself, but Symon is VEry Intelligent, sly, and suspicious"

"No chance of, shall we say, adopting him?"

"Afraid not. His mother is a savvy boggan with connections. You know the type" Wryly "Step mother I suppose. And he's practically become Dagmar's shadow guardian. To the point Symon seems willing to pay Dagmar's debt to me off."

"Mmm... keep that in your pocket for later?"

"That's the plan," A nod

He eats a few bites. "That Symon is one to be wary of, if what you say is true. Hm.What information did the 'Dame' give up?"

"I found out where she sent her mother and brother ..to the lodge. It's not so much what she said as how she acted."

"Where else -would- she send them?"

"Oh I agree.. it's the fact she had the good intincts to have them move at all . The shooting was MILES away"

"Do we still think it was Leech? Does Rivervale?"

"Rivervale will, I put them in that direction, planted the seeds on Dagmar and Symon. And I suspect strongly it is. "An amused look "Which means I have more ime to access other boltholes"

"Ooo...." that interests him "More vampires, do you think?"

"I'm sure of it. you see, Turns out one went to young Dagmar's house"

"I thought the attack was at a hospital?"

"More than one. You know, I confess, Leech may have been a paranoid centaur phobe, but he made contengenies"

However, warning call was ggiven, a fae hound to the rescue... and after that, a redcap, a redcap's mom, and Zane Wayburton came on the scene, the latter how I know any of this. They staked him, and young Zane interogated the vampire. "

"Bold." William observes, sipping his drink.

"Yes, he's so focused on magic it's intriguing to see. His power over non fae individuals is amazing for one so young"

"Your professor's son, hm?" she can see the idea forming in his eyes.

"Who is a 'PIlar of the Mountain' and learning from Frank" A chuckle "Troll corruption is like root beer"

"DAMN." not loud, but a vehement huff.

"that said, he's not considering me the anti Christ, and he owes me for a few lessonns as well"
