He drums thick fingers on the armrest CC is not occupying. "Hm. Well. Treasures and secrets and millions. Doesn't really sound like our sort of thing, does it?"

"What? Because I'm old?" Huruhmph

"Dearest, I never suggested such a thing!"

"Granted, a cash infusion would not come amiss, but we'll muddle along without it I'm sure."

"I suppose. Old habbits. There was a time where when something like this happened, it would mean not just money for me to take care of Caesar, but resources and treasures I would trade for favors , contacts etc"

He nods. "And there is the chance, were we to attempt any recovery, that the Court might be interested and that could entangle you again."

"But I..." A pout "Damnnnitt"

"Mmm." his tone is cloyingly sympathetic but his eye twinkles as he watches her on the horns of her dilema.

"Oh you're just loving this" An accusation but little bite to it

"There is someyhing delicious about watching you squirm...."

"I never spoil your fun" She sulks again, annd possibly ignoring history and memory

"Surely there's no harm in that." he agrees.

"Okay. So.. do we look for his old boltholes or hope to get to the area he was arrested from?"

William shakes his head authoritatively. "Point of a bolhole is that you don't have to have contact with the area that's compromised, necessitating a run."

"It would be an area he would be familiar with, feel safe in, but not have a well-known connection. At least, not as himself." A smirk "Wearing another face is not out of the question."

"mmmm so...is that no to the bolt hole search or a yes?"

"Well if you think it would be -fun-.... I suppose it's a yes."

CC laughs, and deftly taking his drink slips into his lap "Good . besides, everythinng we snatch up denies nobles potentially right? So you can't tell me you're not hoping we frustrated some lords?"

"Deservedly so." he chuckles, wrapping his arms around her.

"The trick will be finding those boltholes." he frowns a little "They must, by nature and intent, be secret. Well-hidden. Secure."

"He's a sluagh, do we play to type, or assume he'll know folks expect the type and thus some place UNSluaghy?"

"Both." confidently "Some circumstances would warrant that sort of natural comfort for him, and in some he'd need to present an entirely different persona. In so doing, "Leach" would disappear into thin air, you see."

"I see" She nods, "This could be a fun challenge"

"Hmm."He thinks "We can start with an old school map; reported sightings, verified sightings, blue pins, red pins, string connecting them to create a web...."

"I think with a visual like that I might be able to guess at rough locations for likely boltholes."

"I do remember the bolthole WE used on that mission for him. I wonder if he took i for himself?"

"I am worried the Court will already have explored it and taken what they will."

"But it might not be a bad place to start, if we can do so without notice."

"I think we can" She smiles at him

"A tour of your sorid past.... hm.... I'm intriged."

"Mmm." he kisses her "What shall we pack?"

"The bar essentials, cash for non tracable purchases... light jacket, unseasonably cold ... a few tools."

A nod. "And what timeline would you suggest?"

"Mmm 3 days? Give us time o arrange things"

He nods. "We have had some practice in packing quickly." he chuckles.

"We have," A nod

"And during the three days, we'll have a go at that map?"

"Of course" A nod

He gives her a gentle kiss.

She returns it "Mmm" And dims the light with a outstreched hand "Would you like me to siing 'you can keep your hat on' for you?" Hint

"Oh yes, very much." Hint recieved.
