The boggan approaches. "May I help?" With fondness.

"Hey Emmerson, sorry, our waiter seems to have forgotten we're here, big blow to my ego." He says "We wre ready to order..."

April says "We can't do that to Mr. Stodgepole, he's the owner, well, co owner"

"April, I am here to serve." A smile. "What would suit you?"

"Oh." She says "i'm craving cheese lately, or cheesy things. Any suggestions?"

"Nothing soft." Firmly. "We have a selection, I'll put together a plate?"

"Please," She says.

"Your reccomendations are always tops," Caesar says.

He bows himself out and goes to put it together with a pat at Caesar's arm.

More importantly, the boggan picks up the signs of the dynamic. As he leaves, he remembers how they clung together. April adores Caesar, might even love him, and Caesar is fiercely fond of her, and he suspects not just because of the fact she carries two of his children.

Yes, Caesar won't be faithful, but he can have favorites and those he loves. CC is very discrete, and courteous. Caesar will learn the former, he's already the latter.

Emerson puts together a hard cheese platter with lots of extra add-ons and brings it to the table himself. "What will we have to drink?" With a smile.

"Water" She says with a sigh, "or maybe Ginger ale?"

"We have a special ginger ale, it is actually ginger. Will that suit?"

"Yes, thank you" She blushes

He nods, and goes to mix it.

And returns with drinks for all. "There we are."

"Delcious, please, join us, Emerson. You're family it feels wrong to..." April says "Well. you know, order you around."

"Right, that's mom's job" Caesar declares

He clears his throat. "Let me go see where Miss CC is? She might join us if you like?"

"We'd welcome it, but don't want to be trouble" April says

"Miss April.... you are not, ever, trouble. You are a welcome guest. Excuse me." He goes to find CC.

CC is staring into a glass of bourbon, clearly she was scrying

He slows... and waits.

She parts, then turns "Oh, hi, honey."

"Hello." He kisses her. "Our guests are here."

"Oh? We have guests?" She rises "Who this time?"

The kiss was returned, natch

He smiles. "April and Caesar."

"Oh why don't you tell me these things" She gets a move on grabbing his arm and taking him along

He chuckles and escorts her to the table.

"mom" Caesar rises to hug his mom, it is returned

"Oh, Caesar, you look good." She turns to see April.

"And I look like a whale, " April says "And there's nothing you can say that will make me feel better about it."

"You're a better looking whale than your sisters right now," CC smiles and winks

Emerson stays wisely quiet.

April does laugh "I take it back, that does make me feel better. I'm petty."

"Now, catch me up on how things are going?" CC demands/encourages

And the two do. Caesar's real estate business is going well.

Emerson settles in (if all are served) to listen.

Indeed, all were.

April's classes are doing great for the most part, though she admits to tiring by the late class on thusdays "By then I'm just tapped out. IT's hard to focus"

CC nods "Have you any time for a nap before?"

"I worry I'll sleep through it"

"One might set an alarm...."

April makes a face at that logic "I might break it"

"She's come up swinging a lot more when she wakes up " Caesar says "I try not to take it personally"

CC chuckles. April blushes

Emerson shifts restlessly in his seat.
