"Only a few hours." He assures her. "And you can sleep here tonight, Mmm?"

"I will... but the show?"

"Can you stand for it? Or could we stage it with you sitting?"

"Supported, on a stool or similar?"

"Sitting? yes I can sing and sit. Sure." She nods "Yes. I'll lounge"

"Yes." He brushes her cheek with the back of his fingers.

"I love you, but I have to issue orders, change the performances to account for it" A kiss of his passing hand

"I could carry your words, give you a few more minutes by the 'Fire....." He offers.

"Would it make you feel better for me to use you like that?" A brow

A chuckle. "Use me?"

"Carry my words and so on... yes, fine." She writes some notes. "Pass these on please"

He takes them and bows efficiently with a smirk on his lips. "As you command."

"Later when I'm feeling better still you'll be doing some commanding" A wink

He chuckles and heads to deliver her orders, and ensure they are carried out.

And so he does. CC will make an excuse to the audience for her trouble, but later between sets she pulls himaside and looks mIffed "You. Your office. Now."

He blinks and follows her.

"You know what I did? I cast a tattle tale, with dross, with a hat pin with blood on it. Should have lead me to a certain target to know where he was holing up. Know what I saw?"

"What?" Wide-eyed curiousity.

"Nothing, no one, and no where!" She fusses "What did you do?"

"I cleaned up, Dearest. It's what I do, don't scold me for fullfiling the Dream that makes me." Mildly as he pours them both a drink.

"Scold? I told you I would get them back... and you took my vegeance away which is.. very very selfish"

"I know, Dearest." He brings her a drink. "My apologies. Unseelie, you know."

"Ooooo you..." She takes the drink "Wait, if I drink this am I going out cold again so you can go avenge something else without me?"

A smile. "It is undoctored. My word on it."

"Is there something else I should avenge for you?" Curious.

"If there were, Iwouldn't tell you" She sniffs and sips

"I'd have to wiggle it out of you." He nods. "Wise. Keeps the game fresh."

"You game with cheat codes" She says

"Mmmm." He confirms.

" I have to go back on stage. You selfish selfish man" She hops and makes her way back out.

He follows behind her and she can FEEL his eyes on her, admiring..... relieved.

Angry toss of her hair as she sees him but that just makes her more ravishing

His low moan of approval at her anger follows her on stage.

She punishes the audience with notes that threaten to drive them wild, and they crawl back to the tables and beg for more... oh, lounging or not, she's going to own them tonight.

And Bill can serve as the angry goddess' high priest. Life is good.
