"Oh lord. I see your point," A sigh "Why couldn't he have found a nice Fiona girl?" wry

A pained look. "Dearest, must you?"

"Well, 'must', no," A slightly apologetic tilt of her head , "You've been very tolerant of our nearbrushes with some"

A deep breath, "As for Susi, yes, it will get messy before the break up. I may have to rush it through. She's really into him you say?"

He nods. "That is what I saw."

"mmm, may have to either speed up the process or find another way to monkeywrench it," She considers the situation, "if I could have her leave happily, there's more chance it would stick but that's the harder play. If she's feeling possessive, hard to say how far she'll go."

"However hard it might be, her efforts would pale in comparison to how hard -you- are willing to go." with some pride, "Now, however, you have a call to make and I have equipment to gather. Tick-tock; whatever might be in his system is being processed out as we speak."

"Right" She moves quickly, not caring that ddoing so opens her robe to flash flesh. She does take time to lay a kiss on him, abeit a brief one, and she goes off to begin her machinations while he gathers his gear.

A briefly wistful sigh, and off he goes on -his- machinations.

Equipment and gear gathered, there's a bit of a hurry up and wait while he must pace , hoping that CC texts him soon to let him know the dougal is out of the way. While he loves CC greatly, he must confess, the fact there is a sidhe living on the same block has him a touch edgy.

Perhaps things will get better closer to samhain, Calidora shows her fangs more then. Of course, he adores her regardless and.. ah, a text comes in.

He heads back to Caesar's, knocks.... but softly. The boy needs his rest and shouldn't try the stairs.

It would appear the lad doesn't hear him

"Tsk, poor fellow." He uses the spare key and slips in, then clears his throat and says clearly. "Caesar? It's Emmerson."

"Emerson? Give a moment... didn't hear you"

"Quite alright, shall I come up? You should not be out of bed."

"You sound like mom" He says "Yeah, come on up. I snoozed but I'm awake now."

He carries his satchel up with him and steps into the bedroom, moving to set up the alcohol wipes, tubes, etc. "Now, before we begin, do you think, pardon the question, you could give me a urine sample?" Business-like.

"You know, if I was in any other line of work besides Athlete, I'd probably be startled?" He removes the sheet and rises slowly, "Give me a sec. Got a cup?"

"Yes." And he provides a container; well, a gelato container, but it's clean and it has a cap.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome" Caesar's back shows his bruises, but his stride is definitely lacking its usual power. He goes to the bathroom. A moment later, one can hear the expected sounds, and then, in he returns "Got it."

Emerson holds out a brown paper bag, labeled, and in it goes. "Now you just get back in bed, I'll do the blood draw, and off I go."

"Thanks. If I was drugged, I don't know how. I Kept a close eye on things" He grunts and lays back done in bed

"Well, perhaps knowing what it was will let us know how it was introduced, hm?"

"Good point, maybe it was a magical whammy but... uhm.. I don't htink a magic whammy would linger"

"It does not appear, to me, to be magical in nature or at least solely so." He has gloves on, and a rubber band around the giant man's arm. He taps the crook of his elbow methodically.

Muscled as hell. The man keeps toned. "Just... stab when ready" He looks away, and mutters "I hate needles. I mean, I get they're needful, but geez."

Emerson chuckles understandingly. "Would you like a Fuddle?"

"No no, I'm fine as long as I don't look at it. " THe satyr smiles but keeps looking away "Just don't spread word about this huh? Little kids look up to me and if they seem me squeemish about it it might set a bad role model for their own visits to a doctor"

"Of course. Just a stick... and hold on..... " He works quickly and efficiently.

"There... now...." He draws a pattern on the skin of the site, a little blood tracing over the skin before the pin-prick heals over. "There. Good as new."

"Caesar, not that I am complaining since you've given me something to do, but why haven't you been to a freehold and a Balefire?"

"Truthfully? I don't know . I just..." A deep breath "if it heals up too fast, I might take my sloppiness for granted maybe? I, slipped somewhere, and i need to mull it over. "\

A frown. "Are you sure perhaps this reluctance is not also an effect of .... whatever it was that caused the situation?"

His brows knit, causing his horns to quirk in, "I don't see how it could be."

"How are you feeling, aside from the body? Emotionally, I mean." He packs away his samples

"Embarassed, sorry for myself, and a bit angry" He says, "Got no energy but I think that's physical"
