BIC; there is a bit of lingering glamour in him, but he's not sure it was the causse of his disorientation, not directly. Indeed, this sounds more like one of his own non magical chemical workings. He wonders if there's anything still in the blood?

His lips are pressed tightly together till he parts them to speak. "There are.... tests I could run. If you are willing."

"Tests? For... oh geez, is this gonna involve needles?"

"Yes." With mild amusement. "Small ones. I can arrange for you not to feel it."

"No no, I can tough it up. Just, don't ask me to LOOK at it while it happens. I can do fine if I don't look at it" Sheepish

there's a knock at the door, "HEy, food...bread and preserves."

"I'll return for that, then." He stands from his perch bedside and crosses to help with the things.

"Thank you, Mr. Stodgepoole" She says and she has no idea of what he's doing, and that's probably for the best Emerson still doesn't trust HER after all.
