"well, I keep track of who goes to these things, and who 'patrons' of the art are. so I have the vampire's name and address according to the mortal world. A house fire, very unfortunate, broke out this morning right at dawn. It's probably in the news. " A sip, "she's blood. Until I decide what to do with her, any prodigal seeking to harm her gets crushed. I am not a nice woman. I thought we knew that?"

"We do. And, well done. Have you thoughts on what to do with her?"

She sighs then admits, "Nothing solid. She's... not in my line of work. I can't offer her a place in the club that wouldn't be anything but a brief fancy for her. Theatre is her passion. she's.. talented, and if I were in the court still I'd probably ..well, you can guess what I'd probably do. the way she's divided herself is both fascinating and frustrating, Pan forgive me."

"If we were wilders, we might consider a quest to lift her curse."

"If we were mortal, therapy. Years of it."

"she didn't want to let me touch the coin. was afraid it would turn me unseelie," wry, "Poor dear. We both know i delve back and forth." A sigh "Let's see... therapy. Maybe. As for a quest? Oh my, I am old. that feels exhausting."

"Mmm." Agreeing. "Do you recall how she got the coin in the first place?"

"She sought it out, as a 'cure' to keep her from becoming like her father."

He nods. "A quest, I suppose. One wonders.... was she legitimately on that path, or simply feared it so much she made that choice?"

"All I know is we have a girl with a very powerful treasure that she has awakenned and gotten split right down the center for her trouble. If it weren't attached to her , any number of Eiluned, sluaagh, and other curious sorts would seek it for their own use in their own machinations. eventually, word is going to get out that she's 'bound' to it, and someone's going to wonder 'but what if she dies?'. the Right of LIfe has been violated for less."

"Easily."

He absently pets her as he thinks, stroking up and down her back.

"Well, -does- she wish to be freed from it?"

She enjoys then "Oh, Seelie her wants freed from Unseelie side, and Unseelie side wants freed from Seelie side, and I think both are scared the other might end up on top."

He sighs, shaking his head. "I dislike being Seelie, would not seek it, but...."

"Darling, I want you happy. So stay Unseelie, and when you go Seelie, I'll keep you in line and mine" Light grazing of nails against his cheek, a touch fierce. he can have other sexual partners, but she's a bit more selfish when it comes to who he loves and is loyal to.

He smiles, pleased. "So good to hear."

"You like getting me possessive," An accusation that may lack bite.

"I do. I also like possessing you." Mildly.

"you better," she scotches in his lap and lays her horned head on his shoulder

He cuddles her close. "So. How do we solve a problem like Magdalene?"

"Well, we could send someone to quest for her. But I'm worried Caesar will leap at the chance. On the other hand. he's capable of handling himself."

A giggle at something

"Hmm?"

"Not related. I ..uhm... got an invitation to audition to be a troubadour at a noble hold"

"You -what-???"

"Oh yes, it would appear my shows and voices have impressed, and I have been invited to audition for a hold that's rebuilding. Fiona hold, we satyrs do tend to blend well with them."

Thunderstruck, he just stares at her.

"Well, you don't have to act StUNNED that someone wants me for my voice" Raised brow

"That is the -least- of the things I am stunned by, and you know it!" He responds. "Are you considering it?!?!"

"Not even for a second," She says "Oh don't get me wrong, I might compete, wow them and leave... but accept a job for one court? Let someone, ANYONE dictate what I do or do not sing? " An indelicate snort

He relaxes with relief. "Good heavens...."

"Why on Earth would you think I'd go work at a noble court? Particularly with you in my life? " a smile "You'd soon have me convinced to destroy it from within and there I'd have gotten myself out of a job." A flutter of lashes, suddenly demure, "You know i'm helpless against your wiles."

That makes him chuckle. "Which holding is it?"

"Earth Runes, Jefferson city... yuck. Historically known more for it's prison than it's music scene. At least KC has history." She fills him in "I researched. Turns out it's had quite the clash with the Shadow court machinations" A trouble "And more signs that the Thallian are now the guiding hand behind it. It's.. alarming. I think I'm glad I'm out. " She relates more of rumor and tale

He listens, and nods. "I agree; the last place you need to be right now is there. Stay well away, both from the city and the Court."

"You know, I'm not as contrary as Magdalene, but you do realize telling me to stay away makes it more interesting? is that on purpose?"

He groans, "No, not at all! I just wish to avoid undoing all we did to remove you from them. Not to mention all the work -you- did on your own."

A chuckle , "You're right, of course. And I agree. From what I can tell a accordance war sidhe is dead. His replacement is liable to be more open to commoners. So that's hardly the place to crusade even if I wanted to. Add to that and the Shadow Court being purged, and you have a situation where either I am purged along with it because 'oops' used to be one. Or you have a situation where I get tempted to join in on the purging for some and I lose track of my work here. Add to that the club, you, and matters of family, and I really cannot afford to dally there even in what i mean to be play. I'll send a polite response saying I'm happy running my own club."

"Mmm." Approving, and he kisses her.

A hot kiss in return, "Though, I'm tempted to make some recommendations in lieu of myself "

He tsks. "Best to stay away...." warning.

A shuffle in his lap as she gives a pout deliberately younger than her seeming "Fine. " A pause "spoilsport"

A low growl of approval.

She leans against him, "Okay, it'll give me more time to focus on Magdalene. Let me know if you have suggestions there."

"I spoke of therapy, and I don't really -mean- it since it would lead to Undoing, but there is something to be said about her hating herself. Both sides of herself in opposition, I mean. That would need to be addressed too."

"Yes," A nod, "I concur."

"In fact, if she could address that prior to any resolution about the Coin, it might not need to be resolved."

"But are we the ones she'll listen to in guiding her?"

"We're old, what could we possibly know?"
