They sneak out, careful, careful... as the Goblin tries to use some kind of nail gun on Pepper, but she dodges.

the jar is closer to them than the fight is... and now, Irene can see the butterly inside doesn't have any holes in the lid. It's DYING

"Jerk goblin!" She goes to grab the jar.

"Don't yell ooh too late" The Eiluned winces. But while she called out, Irene also moves to the jar and scoops it up. Her nimble fingers grab it good!

The butterfly inside is moving slower and slower

She untwists the lid.

Pepper looks over "Girls, get back in the hold NOW" And spears the Goblin even as she takes a nail in the shoulder.

And the butterfly breathes! it flutters out weakly, happy for air and settles on irene

"We're going!"

The Goblin dies painfully as it tries to fire again only to have the troll turn the weapon on it with brute might. Fortunately for their innocence, the kids are already heading back through the window!

"Look, we got a friend!"

"We did but... oh" Felicity ooos as the Butterfly is in the kitchen, and vanishes behind a shelf

"I wonder if butterflies like jelly?"

"We have grape AND strawberry for sandwiches.."

Then the sound of heavy breathing behind the shelf, then a young wilder, like she must have just come out of caterpillar stage not long ago, peeks out

BIG eyes.

"You're a FAIRY!"

"She's a pooka" Realization hits the eiluned "And you saved her. You did a right of rescue! " She cheers her friend

The delicate butter fly girl smiles "Fairy fairy quite contrary, how does my garden flow? With brave piskies, rescuing me, and sidhe girls in the know" She looks gratefully at both .

She is bruised, hurt, and this dims her enchanting look

"I've never seen a butterfly pooka before. You're very pretty.'

"Do you want grape or strawberry jelly?"

"Oh I used to be quite tubby with a dozen legs protruding. And Grape is what I'd die for, if you don't think me rude, ma'am"

She breathes again, taking a deep breath then adds "I don't suppose, in your journey, you've got a goat pooka too? He was with me when the silver chain broke, and left us in a stew"

Irene hesitates, and reaches for the jar of strawberry - watching the pooka's expression.

A nose wrinkle, delicate

"Just you, so far." Hand over the grape.

Stu comes in "Yes? I ..." And his jaw drops... Stu is a childling, but he gives her and odd look that's kind of dorky

"Merci Boo Cue, and i thank you, I was fit to starve to naught. But with grape jelly for my belly, a sandwich will be wrought" She turns to see Stu

"You called for me? " Says the younger pook "I heard you scream my middle name"

"She meant like the regular stew, stu" Felicty says "She's a fairy. WE saved her" Proud "Mostly Irene" she admits

"Hey Stew! Strawberry, right?"

The butterfly pooka gets hers - cut into triangles!

He nods wildly

the butterfly pooka touches Irene's arm gratefully, "If I were a fairy princess, a wish I'd grant to you. For you are so kind. Heck, I hearby grant you two"

"I could make you some sandwichies or twenty" Stew assures the new pooka girl. She likes sandwiches? She should have ALL the sandwiches in the world!

"I'm Irene, and this is Felicity and that is Stu and what's your name?"

Stu gets a PB & strawberry sandwich.

"Before I was just a tubby grub, Sherry with no glass, but then i wildered up, and being Sheera is my task. I don't mean to be pretentious , and have few defenses, but since you're lending me precious time, I am now a pooka girl, who speaks all my truths in rhymes"

She blushes

Felicty says "Well, that must be VERY Tiring"

"Exhausting , I assure you, emoting like a poet" Confidentally "Dr. Seuss did it better, and EVERYBODY knows it"

Sheera beams at Irene "My rescuer is smart as well as brave, it's clear to all to see. And I bet even your worst enemies would quickly soon agree. I would smother you in hugs, until you had trouble breathing. But you just saved me from that, and I learned my lesson well. so you'll just have my thanks, and that goblin can go to ..." she looks at her sandwich "hello" And bites it

Stew laughs as if that's the funniest thing ever!

Felicty looks at stew "Are you okay?'

"Me? I'm cool.. super cool, calm and collected" He says nodding and tries to lean against the door frame of the kitchen in a cool easy pose. He ... misses the frame and falls to his side
