And then bows to the Dame. "Dame Otha, you missed all the excitement."

"Hey, monster trucks are art and opera in roaring diesael fury" Bix says

"Our Grete was quite the hero..." A nod at the dozing witchel. Irene has placed several shiny rocks on Grete's belly. (Some of which may have been Grete's to begin with)

Otha says "I missed everythinggg... " A glance "Except Bix. I don't ever miss Bix. " then she moves to see Grete "So I see. And nearly drained herself"

Sparrow nods. "The fire will restore her."

Nessa follows Otha and gazes at the young yet sturdy girl. "Brave... I heard there was a monster and... well, I stayed here. Where it was safe." A hoof scrapes the floor lightly.

"You stayed here because we were prepared for far more wounded than we got."

Otha looks at Grete "You were wise ,Nessa. Healer courage is no less than warrior. I've seen beserks who would take a spear to the head.. but could nont stand the sight of a bone being set."

She blanches a bit. "I think I could... learn to do that."

"Then you ARE brave" she says

Thinking, not realizing a hoof is tapping. "If someone was hurt, then of course. Me being queasy won't help anything."

"Of course she's brave" Rose says "Why do daughters believe anyone and everyone for stuff their mothers already tell them?"

"Well, today is about the warriors who ran to protect us all." She kisses her dad on the cheek. "Even the stubborn ones."

Ross chuckles

"I am blessed to have those that care for me" he says simply "And I too am grateful to the warriors"

Hope says "Okay... Dinner is almost ready. Shall I bring it in? Or do we go to the dining room?"She asks the baroness

"Folks seem settled. Need a hand serving up?"

"I got it, Sparrow. It's the least I can do!" And trots to help with the food!

Hope smiles "Well goodness, both of you so kind. And thank you Nessa.. " And she leads the cenatuar off to help get the food, talking a bit to mention who likes what, and asking what SHE Likes and her parents?

Sparrow retrieves her bright blue poncho - one of her first gifts here - and bundles up in her chair.

the twins have thawed their shields off and seem to be pleased enough with their showing.

Redfang is having an ale

"Good work" he's telling the other thanes "Fast response. Mind you, turns out Grete took our thunder but she's welcome to it. Cold makes my joins ache"

In the kitchen: Nessa blushes and blurts out, "Like her? I mean of course, everyone likes Sparrow... oh, you were asking what I like.. to eat? Oh, just my own hoof, thank you."

(KIthcen) Hope smiles "She's hard not to admire, I mean, her beaauty alone is riveting, and if she were a bitch it would be so easy to take it as a trade off but no.. she's lovely on the inside too. "

"I know it's just... leftover cupid magic, but... it's nice. To feel a little flutter when I see her." She admits, helping toss together a quick salad.

A brow "Well, from what I understand, cupid magic isn't false magic it's just.. a catalyst? But then whatt do I know..." A chuckle "Yes, some times it's nice just to feel it. A bit of a heart flutter, a pep in your step. Someone who brightens the room for you just by smiling"

She doesn't realize she's smiling now at the thought, gathering a bowl of bread rolls. "Let's get these to the hungry people."

"Yes, let's do" Hope says and moves witth her "My you're strong. "

And Nessa and Hope serve Sparrow and Nessa's folks, and the knights and the thanes and the kids
