"the mortals aren't going to under stand where the power is coming from, Baroness.. jus think they're lucky... unnless the veil drops and they find the extra work I did. But it's .. well, let's say regular Wifi is out.. anyone playing a video game streaming onlinne or something is going to be REALLY pissed every 22 minutes for about 5 minutes before it restarts"

"I guess..." Ryder says looking it over "Weird how we're able to do this at ALL.. I mean, we should be buried in a SCHLEPTON of snow more than we are"

Nessa trots in, packing bundles on her broad back. "Here's more goodwill baskets... blankets, those shakey handwarmers, food that doesn't need heating. I packed them up and they're ready to ship out."

She offers, "If we're delivering to Fae, and the roads are impassible... I think me and mom and da could get through. "

Ryder looks at the chimerical generator add ons. Hopefully it will last

She offers to Sparrow. "We could even pull a sled... as long as no one thought it was going to be a habit... times call for special measures."

"For... oh, Ham is pretty isolated, out at the Observatory... maybe saddlebags?"

"Does he need supplies, or rescue?"

"oh poor Ham."

Ryder ponders "The observatory is kind of out there from the main town ..."

"I haven't met him..." She shuffles, and then lights up. "Maybe... Irene? She is light enough that I could carry her to guide me, and bring them both back."

"He i would probably best come back for a short while, yes. And Irene is small... do watch her hands when she's there."

Ryder sighs "One she stole one of my self sealing stembolts. Got it caught in her hair. " An eye roll . Girls and their girly girl things and somehow it's the boy's fault

"You got it back?"

"Yeah, but she acted like her hair getting caught was MY Fault for leaving it out"

Nessa tsks, but her eyes dance a bit in amusement.

"I know. Girls."

"I did not say that..." A pause "Mostly because a lot of them are bigger than me or carry swords"

"But Nessa - piskies don't mean any harm, but they do tend to.. ah... forget what they are holding."

A smile. "Irene is a sweetheart. I trust that there is no harm in her... wandering pockets."

"I'll go find her." She bows to Sparrow, and heads off to locate the girl.

Ryder looks at the generator and nods but frowns "Wish I had more stembolts now"

"Is there any way I can help, Ryder? You're doing amazing..."

He perks at the praise "Thanks, Baroness, but what I need are more crrafters I think... no offense" He pauses then an idea "Can you can you do some ... soveren tree stuff? On chimera?"

"Can you do that.. blocky blocky thing? Keep the parts from flying free? See, this is chimerical mechanics interaction . If you can order the chimerical parts to hold, it should.. urr furk I don't know the word...maintain the moral parts easier too?"

"Mortal things, I can't affect much more complicated than a paintbrush..."

"So... tell the chimerical bits to hold fast and stay steady?"

She raps firmly on the floor. "Pay heed, Ryder's creation! I command you to hold fast, for so long as you are needed or until my command releases you!"

The parts seem to adjust as if straightening their shoulders... if they had shoulders

And the glamour grips them and they will obey

"Oh..well, chimera is chimera.. be it a dream fo a rabbit or a draem of a lugnut.. but yeah. It feels different to me too"

She nods. "But I'm glad I could help. You need cocoa or anything?"

"I'm always happy to have cocoa..." he says then admits "I miss warm weather"

"This won't last forever. Does it get to your joints? My wing always feels it, where it broke."

"It makes half my wheel chairs hard to move, even the fancy ones.. the gears and joints of those get stuck more and then I get stuck more.." A grumble "makes me feel like a furking... cripple"

She nods. "I can see why that's frustrating. But it will be warm soon."
