She nods. "Yes. But it took a long time before I could handle being around even trolls."

Ryder says "So you DO know what it's like for us"

the little boy's words show he found a connection he did not expect

She shrugs. "I can't understand everything... but, some parts, yes."

"It's how it was for most of us, harkson and his troll goons. Sidhe and trolls hurt us so we tend to.. flinch?" A look and a whisper "Ashlee thinks I back up sometimes cause o f her face. Sometimes I just see a blue or gray hand and I back up"

She nods. "It'll take time. And Ashlee's dealing with hurt, too. But as you get used to each other, I think maybe it will help both of you?"

"Oh, I'm more used to her now" He ponders "Heck, I'm even used to Irene ...though have told her my tools are off limits" Frustration "I know she can't help but, but some of my stuff is hard to replace and i need it handy"

"Have you asked if she found anything?"

"That's how i get it back.. but when I'm in the middle of something and my Tesla head screwdriver is missing... when I NEED it then.. it's a problem. Hurumph" Then he says "But it's okay. Irene IS kind of cool. She's the only one who really sees my wheel chair set ups as like mario cart options..which is kind of neat"

"I know, it can be difficult - thank you for being kind to her. You and Stu are rather outnumbered..."

"I KNOW, and Stu's older than me.. pooor guy.. he's gonna stop being floffy one day and then. bam, wilderhood" Ryder says "happenns to a lot of good guys, but then I'll be alone"

"Well, we might get new childlings yet. And you and JT seem to get on, even though he'skinain."

"Yeah. JT's okay" A nod

"What about you? You lonely? I mean.. you're the only girl winged liam sidhe I heard of"

"Well, I know other girls, and other Liam, and other sidhe..."

"Well, you and neesa seem to be making friends. I mean, she's okay for someoen who likes plants more than machines"

A smile.

"Yes, Nessa is nice."

"And she's helpful... going off to get goods to folks and stuff. Mmm maybe I should study the centaurs and make a mechanical one if they're so stream lined for winter"

"That's an idea."

"Robo Centaur mmm"

"Like a perambulator."

He looks impressed "Yeah, like that. "

"We had a few Dougal at Earth Runes. Not many nockers, though."

"There's a nocker or two around here but they're old and they. uhm. .they're still shy"

She nods. "Regrettable, but understandable. It seems we have the space to set up a proper forge, but I lack the know-how..."

"Oh... do you need a forge?"

"More that... from what I understand, it is easier to work dreamstuff inside a freehold? So we could use some of the lower level rooms for a workspace..."

"Yeah, but it's not like we can't do craftingg magic out of a freehold" he says "You'd be amazed what we can do with time and dross"

"I'm sure! I just... I want to make things better?"

"You have" Ryder says and reaches from his chair to give a hug

She smiles. "Glad to hear it."

Ashlee comes walks up "Mister Redfang says OUR fief is good ,but other areas got a LOT Of winter nightmares according to the rovers"

"Thanks, Page Ashlee. " Noting the tabard.

She bows and salutes... mixing them up

And blushes "Sorry"

"You're fine."

"Do any of the warriors want to go monster-hunting afield?"

"Some of them already have, Rovers Oaths. They have to protect travelers" She says "But Commander Hastien remains at the outpost along with most of them"

She nods. "And Outpost is holding out strong?"

"Yes, Baroness" She nods "They say everything is roger dodger at the outpost. "

"Well, that's what they told Redfang, and he told me"

"Works."

"Thanks. It's cool.. uhm.. do you have orders for me?"

Page Ashlee squirms a bit

"Not right now - thank you for keeping me informed. Check in with Hope, see if any messages need to be passed."

"Yes, Baroness" And she smooths her tunic, then looks to Ryder "Good work on the Generator, Ryder. We KNEW you could do it" FIrm nod

Ryder puffs up "Thanks. The Baroness helped"

Ashlee nods and heads off... long strides
