As if in answer, the nevers, five or six of them take off towards the observatory

"Shall we?" Asking Irene

"Yeah!"

A Window to the building is open "I must protest , madame, I don't care if you rarely get to see Texas... I can't see the stars with those snowclouds in the way. " A beat as the Chimp Pooka in what looks to be a space suit leans further out "Have you considered Chicago? They LOVE Snow"

She kicks off into a gallop! "Let's race!"

Racing the nevers up to the edge of the observatory, then skidding to a stop with a spray of snow. "Helloooo! Are you Mister Hamm?"

"OooOOOowhoa!"

She sticks on!

Ham turns.. and they get a look at the woman he is fussing at...

"Dear professor, Chicago IS lovely, a very underestimated theatre scene... but after my cousin's boorish behavior.... I had to grant a few blessings from the lighter side of winter season" the lady says, snow whirling about her like a ball gown

"She's so sparkly."

"Oh, hello...." She says, and bows a bit, unsure if she is some sort of nobility.

"But lady, you're obstructting my view of Venus and.." the Chimp pooka turns "Oh, Irene? My word, is that you? Why Haley was still learning the bop when last I saw you. " A nod to the Centaur "Greetings, daughter of Sagitarius"

"We came to rescue you!"

At the nod, the winter lady turns "oh, such a kind reception, and after , well, everything... rescue? I would not harm a single hair on his arm let alone head. I assure you. I am Eritia, Lady of Winter's joy"

"But he can enjoy winter and come in for cocoa...."

Eritia moves towards Nessa and Irene

Uncertain, Nessa canters a step back. To Hamm, "I'm also daughter of Rose, Warrior of Bright Winds, and Ross, Centaur Sage." She fights the giggle at almost stumbling and saying "center stage".

the nevers seem to move around Eritia like they were her court, but Eritia gazes at the Centaur "So you.. oh the Yule star, of course. Greetings, Rose's daughter, I am glad you enjoyed the snow to run through" She looks at Irene and laughs, then "What is this?" A look at the snowflake on her mitten

"The snow is lovely.. I was very glad to have the chance to play in it." She admits.

"Look, it's purple!" She shows the flake.

The professor has clumbered outside annd drops in the snow. He's wearing an astronaut suit.

Which seems to be toasty

"Oh, you don't have a tail..." A touch of disappointment.

Eretia says "I see... "She tilts hre head and listens to the Nevers "They want to ask me something?"

The professor says "No no... why would I have a tale? I'm no Eshu."

Giggle.

A shy smile to Eritia. "Lady of Winter, I was wondering if there was a way to keep snow - that is, a special snowflake - from melting so that it might be admired all year."

Eritia says "oh, what a lovely request! Here... little piskie, show me that snowflake again"

Irene holds out her mitten.

"It's the BIGGEST snowflake I've ever seen."

"And here then is my blessing, " Eritia blows a kiss on the snow flake "As long as a pure heart is to be found in the hold where you reside, you shall not melt. But balance is required so if caried you be, who caries you, if they are pure of heart, will not feel the cold either. "
